The problem is a lot of you are making absolute statements that are easily debunked.... so now you resort to attacking the writers of the articles.

Still rather have Maxey and/or Paul Reed over Milton.

    But that's a minor quibble.

But I thought it was 3 FRP.

    And that is without PJ.

But he's not just a center. He's a point center, why not toss in his playmaking and ast %?

    No that's just wrong.

He is a better midrange shooter. FT shooter. And 3pnt shooter.

And Simmons is the least capable shooter in the league of at least the last 10 years. Because he doesnt shoot.

You ever hear of Max Kellerman, Stephen A. Smith, Rachel Nichols, Scottie Pippen?

They may be blowhards but they carry more weight then you do.

Supposedly people are throwing his pathetic TS% as some kind of achievement and pretend that it is good.

They started this comparison that in fact highlights how bad his FTs are.

Play the same game with Harden.

2003 for ASU then missed in 2008 but they made it his second season 2009. ASU made it again without him in 2014. James Harden played with another guy who had some NBA success. It's a team sport.

What if Simmons went back? Would he have made it his sophomore year? Who knows because he was smart enough to take the money.

Also this second round stuff is bogus. Kevin Love never made the playoffs. Won the very next year with LeBron. Anthony Davis never passed the first round, won the next year with LeBron. Steph and Klay had never been past the second round and the next year they won it all!

Maybe Simmons isn't the best player in the NBA in 5 years, maybe he is? You are speaking like an expert on everything, there's no need to be so aggressive. You're Cageing.

Yet Embid is nowhere in the discussion of being traded currently and even in those discussions none are seriously pumping up Simmons over Embid, those shows are all hot take factories.

Yes you can do this all day and you would still look foolish.

    Max Kellerman?

    Really?

Sure I heard of them. And their opinions aren't worth one cent in my book except when Pippen is speaking from personal experience.

LMAO at giving Stephen A. Smith, Kellerman and Nichols as some kind of experts whose opinions are worth their weight in gold.

If SAS was the only thing in tv I rather never watch tv ever again. He is trash.

Nah it's 2 FRP. That trade is plenty. If Stone pulls that off, I'm ecstatic.

Thybulle + Simmons are my only 2 requirements, everything else is negotiable.

bingo. you know why they try to push him over to center, it's because you have to put him under that label since your non pnr center doesn't shoot anything outside 10 feet. The reality is Simmons is obviously not a center and sucks offensively outside of 10 feet while be a guard oriented player. Basically, bad for the modern nba

You asked me a very specific question.

    I answered you.

You know better than to play this game with me.

TS 60% isn't pathetic...... that's a good number as he scores efficiently on low volume. WB for comparison is career 53% TS on high volume.

Its kind of confusing when you want to lump in Simmons with 5's to cherry pick a stat in context, but then does Simmons play like a center? The last guy that big with his type of handles was probably Magic Johnson (reeeeeeelax Im not comparing the two).

Simmons doesnt even post up in the paint or get spoon fed lobs. He creates for himself and the rest of the team. A floor general who is smart since he isnt out there trying to impress guys like you who will always hold his shooting percentage against him and ignore the multiple other ways the guy contributes to winning basketball.

That's awesome news bro. All this information about Philadelphia now making Simmons tradeable and the Giannis news today really bodes well for Houston. That's going to push the asking price for Harden way up there where it should have been in the beginning. At this point now we should be able to have a good bidding war for Harden's services. Hopefully it won't be much longer for this saga to end. I appreciate what Harden did for us no doubt but I'm just ready for this to be over with.

So pay attention to the context of the response.

I never said I enjoyed the takes of these "experts" but they are NBA experts.

And you are getting too crazy to have a rational discussion with, you are taking this way too personal.

I am not attacking anyone. It is not a shame to be an intern.

But also you can't try to appeal to the AUTHORITY of some SI intern like they are some kind of experts like someone here is trying to pull off

You can't answer with arguments and now is trying to say that

"It is true because SAS said so"

    LMAO

I understand but I’m just saying....I’m old enough to remember, 3 whole months ago when he made all nba. People talk like he’s playing in a peach basket league. He literally just made all nba with all his flaws.

herro is a solid back up but hes not Simmons
