Yeah.....fan boy. If you read....Best Buy is doing a drop, staggering inventory ONLINE. Similar to what Walmart is doing for ps5 and xbox series x.
Best Buy u just have stay on the page...and add to the cart will show up, if available.

LOL...matter of fact, I just got one in the cart by staying on the website. I didn't go thru the payment process.

 

I should buy one....I just have to click the button....and become a scalper....lol. Make around $200.

If you wanted an Xbox, Best Buy is still live. You have to just wait til your button turns yellow. Seem like that have found a way to stop bots.

I just got add to cart again.....lol. Wasn't paying attention....LOL. I trying to help a few friends.

Finally had to change the store pickup location. They are not shipping, only store pickup.

but i got an xbox so im happy.

 

Um...No, Best Buy found a way to stagger their releases so Bots don't scoop up all the inventory. You can only get one if you have a local store with inventory. There are also like 25-30 Best Buys in the Houston Area.

Series S is also available.

You will see the same on the next PS5 drop.

Well, the only Best Buy is going to do these consoles drops now is in-store pickup. And, by doing the staggered drops...it helps against bots. If you have a city with many best buys, your chances are better because you can keep changing stores until one has inventory after you have it in your cart.

 

That is all I ever get and I'm 100+ miles north of Houston

 

Somehow got a PS5 at Best Buy for pickup on Sat. Got a 3080 a week or so ago that MIGHT ship in Feb...

So hard to purchase tech these days.

 

GameStop is having a PS5 drop at 10pm est (9pm central) tonight. Maybe Xbox as well.



Sams, Walmart, Best Buy, and MS all had drops at the same time for about an hour for XB X/S. Also PS5s were available at Sams, Walmart, and Best Buy. Probably the last mass availability til January or atleast after Christmas.

 

Just curious...how in the hell are bots beating everyone to these purchases? I mean really??!? It was almost like dividing by zero to get through Sony's Captcha maze to just make it into their queue. There's no way a bot can figure that out.

 

Bots were getting Walmart, Best Buy, MS, Amazon, Target, and GameStop’s stock. They all have made changes to make it harder for that to happen. Im not sure Sony was bots. Best Buy new system seems to work the best. Many were able to get Xbox Series X’s today. Im sure it will be the same for PS5s.

 

Only console worth it right now is Xbox...
