    Wall
    Herro
    Robinson
    Tucker/Wood
    Wood/Cousins

That line-up looks way better than awkwardly fitting Simmons at the SF.

i mean if your trading harden....everything shifts. U let wall ball out for a year and his value is back, just like cp3 in okc but he’s younger. Then trade him for picks and players. U deal with the awkwardness for a season and get a franchise caliber player in Simmons in return.

wall is a stop gap- u don’t not making moves for the future for him. At best he has what 3 years of elite level play left?

As long as you understand you are taking a worse package to build around John Wall in the near term.

LOL why does it matter if Miami has Butler and Harden? It's not like the 1sts have to be for 2021 or 2022. Both Butler and Harden are over 30. Who knows how they will be 3 years from now and that's what kind of 1sts Houston is going to ask for. 2022+.

And Philly has less room for combustion because they have Morey. And their owner has become extremely apprehensive of any form of tanking.

and with no supermax on the books which gives the rockets options and by the time wall is officially not with the rockets, herro is going to be sitting at a max age of 23. Damn that's pretty old

Great. Only to have 1-point games in the playoffs because defenders are standing in the paint daring him to shoot.

I’ll bet on pat riley and Miami over Morey and philly sorry. Especially with embiid and he’s injury history. They don’t have to tank- if embiid gets hurt

The idea that u don’t take Ben Simmons back because of John wall is backwards thinking guys- just counter productive. he’s 30 with injury history.

Surround him with shooters? He can already play the point guard role (6'10" point center) and is an elite defensive force.

Explain to me how Herro, not a primary ball handler or primary scorer or competent defender, is a piece to build around in the modern NBA? He had a great playoffs playing a role within a team?

it isn't just john wall that's the reason. It's the fact that Ben simmons is terrible for the modern nba as the face of your franchise. And you're paying this dude a fresh max for the 4 years. no thanks

Pat Riley is 75 years old. He was born in the 40s. And you are going to bet that he will even be on the helm of the Heat 3+ years from now? LOL

Plus what matters if Embiid gets injured since you want to send Harden there?

And even if Embiid was injured Morey would find a way to trade him for a good package and rebuild on the fly. He has done this here for years and years. Let alone in the East.
If Philly doesn't want to tank they will be able to make it to the playoffs for as long as Morey is there The END.

The most hilarious thing about this is some of the delusional Sixers' fans not wanting to trade Ben for Harden.

Imagine not wanting one of the greatest scorers in league history, so you can keep a guy who ***** his pants on a wide-open 15-footer.

Yes, all semantics really. Just got to make sure we have 4 other capable shooters with Simmons on the court. Easier said than done. On defense, he is probably better utilized as a perimeter defender guarding a guard or forward but is also good at defending a quicker big. That is why you have other versatile defenders on the team that can defend multiple positions and play the matchups accordingly.

with Herro, we can just let Wall chill here and run the team until he builds up max value...whether that’s 1 year from now or 3, it doesn’t matter

with Simmons, we are immediately looking to get rid of Wall ASAP because every day those 2 are together is a waste of time...and that is because Simmons must have good shooters around him at all times

not to mention that building around a 3rd option oversized PG that can’t shoot is a waste of time to begin with

i disagree. He can be at worst a number 2 and although we’ve had our way with him, hes had bad coaching and terrible fits. He’s flawed yes but as he matures he’ll score the ball in other ways and get more aggressive and his defense is already elite.

    surround him with shooting.
