Once Miami signed Bam to his extension(could have waited a year), they were probably gonna have to trade for him(Giannis), so don’t think this changes much for them. Up their offer? Not like they have a ton to add or throw in.

With Giannis staying in Milwaukee this means Miami , Toronto and the Warriors will come after harden. They were waiting on Giannis

Why is Miami freaking out because Giannis extended? Didnt the Bucks get bounced in the first round again last year? Need to show they belong before they are to be taken seriously.

Dont see why the extension would make the Heat desperate.

I think so to. It just depends on the assets

Yes, his(Giannis) other rumored suitors (Dallas, Golden State, Toronto, I don’t know, New York?) will have to look elsewhere.

Dallas had the cap room but I doubt they will be a player for Harden It makes no sense as they already have luka.

Warriors to me are the sleeper. Wiseman is nice but Wiggins stinks. I can see Toronto a package of Siakam, OG and fillers being somewhat entertaining

Obviously Siakam would be the headliner but who would be 2nd, 3rd and 4th best asset in a trade with Toronto? Would it be FVV, OG, then Powell or would OG be a better asset than FVV? Is there anyway to get Siakam + OG+ Powell for Harden and Tucker? Obviously we would still ask for 1 or 2 picks but the Raptors and Heat seem to be teams that always have good young talent that turns into borderline stars and/or above average role players so the Toronto deal intrigues me the most and don't have to worry about picks being in the 20's. I am fully onboard with Siakam/OG/pick(s) for Harden/Tucker. Maybe Powell can be added for salary matching purposes but not sure Toronto will want to lose him as well as OG. You get some championship pedigree in here too.

I personally think FVV would be a better fit with this team just because the guard depth is not there and he’s still young.

Are you guys really interested in locking the team around Wall (30) and Siakam (27) on max contracts? I don't really get this, that means 1st round exit at best for the next 3 years and then gifting OKC picks for the next 3.

I see no reason for the Raptors to trade for Harden...this isn’t a Kawhi situation were they were just swapping Derozan and an irrelevant young big man for Kawhi to come and join a very good roster

Take a look at that Raptors roster. If they give up Siakam, and maybe OG, it’s just Harden, Lowry, and Van Vleet. Even if they keep OG, that doesn’t make things that much better.

I’m so ready to move forward without James Harden. I really don’t care where he ends up as long as he’s not wearing a Houston uniform

Yes, he would be a good fit. His salary doesn't seem outrageous as a fairly young player with even more room to grow but that would be the potential deterrent from our front office not to mention that you can't pull the trigger until January/February? Not sure the exact date when recently signed players can begin to be traded but I believe it is in January or February.

I’d rather have Herro than Siakam

Wall and Siakam is doing nothing
