Maybe that's because they generally only put team logos on the back of Jackets? Unless of course you want to believe Harden is passive aggressive AF, in which case, this post won't speak to the narrative you believe.
Another year - another "Harden looks fat to start training camp" thread - it's a yearly tradition at this point. FWIW, Harden has finished top 3 in MVP voting every year we have had these threads so by all means, let's continue the tradition.
Tate, Martin, Clemons. None of them should be on guaranteed contracts in my opinion. Bruno is soft, there isn't much assurance from him either.
He's still best served as a 2nd fiddle or 3rd. I'm still hoping he will be different for the Rocket's sake but he is what he is at this point of his career. Wall's cut from the same cloth, and Simmons. There's just too few Durants and Lebrons nowadays. Doncic seems to be one but I still can't say at this point. Harden should learn how to take over the game and when to give it to his teammates. He's always tired towards the end of the game and doesn't have enough energy to do much on defense. He's good defensively if not great if he puts his mind to it. I always like a better Harden to show but he comes back every year the same. Definitely he's got all the talent and tools to dominate but one thing's missing. He doesn't have the mind to be a team leader. That will forever be a chink in his armor.
This thread isn't about Harden's "intangibles" bud. It's about him looking like brick shithouse, ready to run through the league.
All you guys complaining about Harden and turning your loyalties against him are acting out of hurt. I get it. A lot of people here are or were huge Harden fans and Rockets fans first and foremost. I in no way agree with his actions and deem it childish and unprofessional but I ask this. Put yourself in Harden’s shoes. You are the best guard and top 3 player in this league and have been with an organization for 8 years. A lot of stars were brought in and improvements made but your team consistently fall short. Now with financial issues limiting the team’s ability to maneuver and a roster that can’t beat the Lakers along with uncertainties in a new coach along with only having a 3-4 year window left to play at a high level, would you think about making a change of scenery? I know I would. At the end of the day it’s his decision as a man and a professional basketball player. He made those choices and has to live with the consequences good or bad. Just as in marriage or relationships where your partner wants out. No need to sit around and mope and talk about it. No need for anger or spite. It is what it is. No need to live in the gutter with bad thoughts and feelings. Let’s all look forward to a new chapter whether he stays or leave. On to the next chapter.
I think there may be more grammatically wrong than that. That post is, as the kids would say, increasing urbanization. Wow, I think I have the same physique as Luka Doncic.
