you really want to keep this up?

That allegation — circulated in emails by Wilkie — was used by multiple top officials to cast doubt on Goldstein’s credibility, investigators said."

    Do you actually read anything?

That doesn't say Crenshaw wrote the emails. It says Wilkie passed the information in emails

Nobody said anything about any Crenshaw emails WTF are you talking about?

Why are you at one point saying this woman is lying because Crenshaw said something and then big upping him because he is denying it?

Im not big upping him. I thought he said he told Wilkie about the past allegations which i didn't see anything wrong with it. If he didn't say anything well i don't care

I said i dont think anything is wrong with saying he thought she made frivolous accusations in the past. But if he didn't say anything then he just has nothing to do with anything with it

For those of you who are wondering what this is about...

A woman named Andrea Goldstein, who had previously served in the same unit with Crenshaw, claimed she was groped and verbally abused by someone (NOT Crenshaw) while she was waiting in a public area of a hospital.

She reported it to VA Secretary Robert Wilkie. Here's where things get fuzzy...

There has been some indication (not conclusive evidence) that Wilkie may have have spoken to Crenshaw about her.

Wilkie denies this. His spokeswoman stated, "There was no discussion about Ms. Goldstein [between Wilkie and Crenshaw]" [link]

    Crenshaw also denies this.

An investigation from the VA office of Inspector General (OIG) [link] stated the following:
When asked by OIG investigators whether he attempted to collect info about Goldstein's military service, her credibility, or any matter relating to her past, Wilkie testified, "No. Absolutely not."

When interviewed by the OIG, more than 20 VA officials said they were not aware of Wilkie or anyone else attempting to collect information relating to prior complaints by Goldstein.

Contradicting the above info, former Deputy Sec. James Byrne said that, in October 2019, Wilkie told him that Goldstein had filed at least six EEO-type complaints while serving in active duty. Byrne did not know the source, but speculated that Wilkie obtained this info by reaching out to contacts within the DoD.

Byrne also told the OIG that Wilkie later verified with Crenshaw that the Goldstein had previously filed frivolous complaints

    So... the TLDR version is...
According to the VA office of Inspector General (OIG) investigation...

Former Deputy Sec. James Byrne said that Wilkie said that Crenshaw IMPLIED that Goldstein had a history of fraudulent accusations. The investigation did not find any documentary evidence of this.

This is an incredibly thin accusation on Crenshaw. The story is all about Wilkie and Goldstein. The fact that this is even in headlines is indicative that is is driven solely by Crenshaw's political opponents. Sounds like Democrats are afraid of Crenshaw.

We should be. We've seen him pile on nationalism. He has some charisma and bonafides. People with money will back him hard.

    That's the Bill Barr version.

There is a reason and timeline and emails that are the reason Crenshaw is involved.

I admit that there is no smoking gun but there is smoke.

Hitler was injured in a war, embraced nationalism, wrote a book, and took over a government.

    Boom. Godwin.

Know what probably hurts worse than jokes about his eye? Losing his ****ing eye. Let jokes done in poor taste reflect poorly on the joker willing to make a fool of himself anonymously on a public forum.
