Of course they did, and the media covered the BLM protests and then the looting and response from Trump because it was compelling television and a rating winner. Trump made him part of the narrative because he believed it would politically help him (I actually think it did help him). On the other hand, Biden has been clear that he doesn't support any violence, looting and has denounced ANTIFA. It really isn't part of his narrative, and short or an escalation it isn't part of his platform.

 

And North Korea likes to be called the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.....

Stalin used the government framework of Communism to prop himself up as a Fascist Dictator. I think the term that was used was Red Fascism.

Trump, if successful, would be doing the same thing within the framework of a Constitutional Democracy or a Republic.

All frameworks of government (Democracy, Socialist, Communist, etc) can be maneuvered to prop up a Fascist Dictator. Our Democracy does not anticipate certain aspects such as Congressional sycophancy, and it certainly didn't anticipate the electoral college within the expansion of the Union out west where that Constitutional framework would be manipulated to give power to land acreage over the volume of people which is used to prop up minority rule.

People don't realize that America could be Communist in government structure, and North Korea could be a Constitutional Democracy in structure, yet the Unites States of America would be much more Democratic than North Korea.

Even from an economic perspective, a Communist America.... IF RUN WITH PURE MORAL INTENT could actually have a MORE FREE market for the middle class than a Constitutional Republic of North Korea that has a "Free Capitalism Market" that is horribly corrupt and isn't regulated enough to prevent monopoly etc.

So while we want to debate the Republican Party of Trump vs. The Democratic Party, just keep in mind that one party is vastly different than the other in the very basic way that they deal with corruption of the system to give one person fealty & control, vs one that wants more people to vote to have a voice from the minorities & middle class. That party wants to EXPAND statehood, and expand access to the market while the others.
