At least I've still got my balls. Stone is a pompous pissant more interested in the prestige of his position. Stone is much less interested in protecting his people. Silas has been a frickin HERO taking all the bullets for the Rockets organization's bumbling handling of this entire 2020 fiasco.
Harden isn't pissed but still wants to avoid media questions. He'd hop on the Kyrie train of not giving interviews.
He's doing his job. I don't think he's missed a game for us for his entire contract so far, nor is he holding out. Part of his job is talking to the media and if his answers are honest then so be it. He's also been a big part of the locker room morale we've had in the past few years. What's not part of his job? Faking a happy attitude and smiling. He doesn't work in customer service.
Not just about PJ, Stone has been AWOL since NOVEMBER. Stone has said NOTHING on Harden especially during this firestorm of speculation. His job is to protect the organization's assets, value and ensure the day to operations run smoothly. Dude has been in hiding, even Spolane has pointed that out.
Honestly Stone looked like a deer in headlights the last time he made an appearance. But still he's been MIA even when Wood was signed which was a big aquisition. Doesn't seem right to throw Silas out there for the tough Harden questions.
IMO Tad Brown has to speak as well. Haven't heard from him since 'gunna be fireworks.' President of Bball operations?
I'm not sure how you know that, none of us knows the guy, we haven't heard him speak more than twice or so...you are way over thinking a lot of things regarding the rockets org
Same, I got sick and tired of Morley's always on availability with his broadway, chess, egaming, bad puns, etc... nobody cares bro
I know what a GM's job entails and this guy is skating by doing the bare minimum. He is a shirker because he comes across like a gimp when has to speak in public. Shocking considering he was a hotshot attorney.
PJ is 35, fact. PJ is undersized, fact. PJ plays too many minutes, fact. PJ was played out of position, fact. PJ is easily replaced - NOT FACT.
Looks like Noah Vonleh tested positive for COVID. Didn't he play in one of the past 2 games with the Bulls?
kind of like how ariza was easily replaceable. and it took 2 years to do so only to give him away to portland
99% of them would gladly hop on the Kyrie train of not giving interviews if they could get away with it. The difference is Kyrie WANTS attention and Harden wants to play and not really have to answer any questions..... Karl Malone was like that.... Olajuwon really didn't like answering questions either.
Name 5 other players like him in the west or the east. Since he is easily replaceable? Just when I think the stupidest thing has been said
I agree, however, if we aren't going to competing for a championship then he needs to be traded for some value before he has nothing.
'First question, Kelly Iko....' The man. PJ, it's sad, he feels sad than pissed. Dangled in trade discussions.
I do not disagree. But is Mark Cuban the only owner that treats players, even the role players, with respect and dignity? Tilman is a pimple on Cuban's ass when it comes to business AND social interaction. And while Harden is still on the team, so is PJ. Any rebuild talk supercedes that reality.
