Mr. Harden has to agree to go there. It seems they aren't on his list.

What if instead of trading Harden we change the name to one Harden wants, Houston Netz or 76erz..... Then everyone would be happy....

A very wise post. You know Tilman inside and out, when it comes to basketball.

No he does not. He doesn't have a "no trade clause". I mean, if he threatens to be a jackass about it, then that's a whole different story, but the Rockets don't need Harden's consent.

Why does he have to agree?? He is under contract for multiple years and does not have a no trade clause. We need to trade him for a young player with superstar potential regardless of what team that player is on.

Nowhere does it say harden has to agree to anything. It merely comes down to if the rockets actually accommodate him in that regard. but at the end of the day, he has 0 veto power

I just have an unnerving feeling hes going to Brooklyn. I think that's why I keep convincing myself the package isn't that bad. I just don't know if petty Tilman is gonna want to trade him to Morey 3 months after he packed his bags and left

I'd hope Tilman does what's best for the Rockets, even if that means trading him to the Sixers, but I understand how egotistical rich men can be.

Hakeem also demanded a trade at some point. We won the championship later, with him.

Well it isn't coincidence that Tucker wasn't there....... all four of them are going to be traded, and the Rockets will be a worse team..... but what can you do.

I don’t think he has a “no trade clause” - we technically can trade him anywhere. But they won’t, I don’t think. Or maybe? If this divorce goes further south.

He can likely be talked into it. The Nuggets are good and Harden just wants to compete for a title.
