    I could care less about his basketball opinions. It’s his insider info that interests me. Ignore him if you think it’s all BS. I found it at least entertaining

    I hate to judge a book by it's cover, but this guy does not seem like the type that would be intimately connected to a lot of people in the league, to be able to get this kind of wide-ranging information. Seems more likely he is a guy who is very active reading a lot of publicly available tweets, message boards, and opinion pieces. He does seem to be very clever at aggregating and sorting all that into and filtering out the garbage to end up with brief "scoops" that are right more than they are wrong. Which is useful, in a way. But I would lean in the direction of him NOT being any kind of insider.
