This is same poster who trashes Harden at every turn but is defending a player like Clemons??!!!!??

You could not even script this kind of stupidity.

Clemons has shown he is a good cheerleader.
Silas may keep him on the end of the bench or tunnel.

Offense is in trouble, when wall sits. It looks terrible ....which Coach does Tate have naked pictures of keeping from their wives.

I too want to see a better backup PG but it wasn't Clemons' fault that he was pushed into that position. I think he has tried his best and played a solid game overall. The OP said he couldn't rebound and defend but stats said the otherwise. He had 5 rebounds and 2 blocks which showed he at least has put effort on the defensive end. I have seen multiple times from this game that he successfully boxed out bigger players. He was also and net +3 before Silas put him back in the 4th quarter with a bunch of undrafted rookies. It wasn't his fault that his coach put him in with 4 high school ballers. It's really tough to run an offense when you are the only guy who could penetrate or shoot.

The Clemons hate needs to stop. Period.

Clemons plays like Moochie Norris on crack. I wholeheartedly hope we cut Clemons asap. I’m a better player than Clemons.

Which player is he taking minutes away from?! It is pre-season! What other potential do you see at the 13th spot? If any player is at the 13th spot, they are there for a reason and highly unlikely to be an "actual potential" or anyone that can make an immediate impact. If Harden returns, Clemons is pretty much a bench warmer.

When you have one single skill that's your entire reason for being in the nba, you need to be pretty amazing at that skill. Clemons fails on that count.

Not sure what happened to Clemons. He was hot in the couple games when he first debuted. Since then even in garbage time last year, his shots weren't falling lot of times.

This seems to have carried over this season. It's pre-season and Harden isn't back yet, plus Silas being careful on Wall's minutes slowly ramping it up, so I don't mind Clemons given a chance at preseason. If Rockets end up cutting him, at least he was given a shake to prove (or unprove) himself.

I would rather have Brandon knight than Clemons and thats saying a lot. Rockets could even sign Thomas. I don't think it would be smart to go into the season having grant or clemons as a backup point guard.

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. I sometimes wonder if we're even watching the same games.

He's a chucker that can't shoot. He's a streaky shooter at best. He scored so much in college because he played against **** competition. He's a G-Leaguer at best. He can't set people up, can't shoot well, can't defend... He literally does nothing well.

He's like Isaiah Thomas after the injury who can't shoot.

Clemons sucks. So does Bruno. Nwaba is really good as 3-D.

Not if he keeps starting no offense 6'4 Tate at PF.

naw, see thats the mindset that gets us trying to make it work with a 7 man rotation due to injuries... if theres no real possibility of playing at least sparingly meaningful minutes in a pinch - move 'em on now...
