He will we don't have any real offers good enough - no need to jump at the first one....let it go and see if James enjoys playing with Wall.

Wall was always going to be the biggest and most crutial question mark. I think I've seen enough to judge where he's at physically.

    Wall
    Harden Gordon
    House Mclemore/Green
    PJ Nwaba
    Wood Cousins

If Harden had any brains at all he would give this lineup with a healthy Wall a shot.

John seems to really want to play with Harden. Every chance he gets he puts it out there

    Nwaba is a 2/3. Tate maybe a 3/4.

If Woods is just ok, if he’s not very good, then it would be problematic. I don’t like Cousins game as it pertains to winning, unless he’s willing to only do the dirty work which I don’t buy that he will.
Wall and Harden could mesh but I don’t see it leading to a vast improvement over last years team if Wood isn’t a hell of a player, keeping in mind we lost RoCo.

Wall will be one hell of a number 3 behind Wood and Harden.

In hou he is backing up PJ I think. They used him a lot at pf the last time he played in bkn that's why his block % spiked.

Wall is better than Westbrook straight up. Wood is better than Covington, but also fits the team way more. Covington should have been a 4 but was forced to play the 5, or if you want to call PJ the 5 then that's just as bad. Wood is a modern 5 and makes the lineup much more balanced.

Wall is a smarter player then Russ. He makes better decision on both ends of the ball but Russ is a more explosive scorer no doubt.

This team is better than Philly.

Its not as good as Bkn with Harden. But in bkn Harden is not going to control the ball as much next to Kyrie and won't get the credit for winning. Does he really want that? Didn't Durant already prove that riding coattails for a ring isn't fulfilling?

I just figure Tate will make the team and fill that back up 4 role and Nwaba will be a 2/3. This team actually has a possiblity of being pretty deep.

Wasn't talking about any individual aspect of the game. Just meant, for the purposes of winning basketball games this year, Wall > Westbrook.

IMO, the entire road trip was really just about Wall, and maybe Cousins and Nwaba to a lesser extent. We know what Gordon, McLemore and Green bring, and the rest of the young guys are just lottery tickets.

But Wall had to prove he had IT...all of IT. He needed to show the athleticism, the command, the playmaking, the shooting...everything. And he did...probably better than any of us expected.

Cousins showed how different this offense is going to be. Having legit stretch 5s on this roster, that can play inside and outside, is just a huge game changer.

Teams are going to really struggle with Wood and Cousins. You want to put a big guy out there to help on the interior, but those type of bigs don’t like to defend out to the 3 point line. This may force teams to go small against us, but then we will eat them alive in the paint.

At the end of the day, this was the John Wall audition, and he deserves to be a co-star with Harden.

I disagree. A broken KD isn't going to carry Harden like he thinks he would and Kyrie is always injured plus they'd have to gut their team to even put forth an offer.

Harden's only chance to contend this season is in Houston.

If Harden had any brains at all, he wouldn't have forced the Rockets to trade for Westbrook....so let's not make the mistake of overestimating his intelligence.

It isn't Wall that James has an issue with. Wall will look like a stud next to James. It's the rest of the garbage we are paying for that he is worried about.
That also costs money to stack the lineup. Something Tillman since day 1 has yet to prove he is willing to do.

Miami with Bam, Harden, Jimmy and Dragic is pretty good. The heat by all reports are very interested so
The notion Jimmy would be against is false. Riley would definitely run that by Jimmy.

    Dragic
    Harden
    Jimmy
    Harkless
    Bam

is probably the best starting lineup in the east. Probaly on par with the lakers
