All of those shots are really terrible, except for Cousins post ups which we would have had under Dantoni. That guy Roosh is an absolute moron. Worst Rocket twitter guy out there.

 

i don't want to be mean to Clemons because just the fact that he's in the NBA is a testament to his work ethic and skill. But he is a BAD floor general who often looks lost as a PG. And he doesn't try very hard on defense--I get that it's preseason but that's not an excuse for a fringe NBA player to not give his all every time he's on the court. You can't get away with much when you're shorter than the dude posting on clutchfans...

 

I think Wood, House and Tucker will get the bulk of the minutes.

 

LMAO they did nothing for us. Those mid range shots most of the time, dont actually help your offense. I dont know how many times I have to explain that to people.

 

So why is it a gimmick offense again? Thanks.

 

This is why I said not to get excited for the scrubs like Bruno after last game. Scrubs will be scrubs.

 

Needs to improve his shot, but I like what I see from Nwaba so far.

 

Bench Unit (ie when Harden sits):

Wall
Gordon
McLemore
Nwaba
Cousins

That’s a good unit, especially if Nwaba can be a Covington-lite disruptor. Basically, that group just beat the Bulls starters twice.

If Silas is serious about having Wall and Harden playing together a lot (less staggering) we really need another PG.

 

Look how many players played and how many minutes they got. The WHOLE team got time on the court. That's not a team trying to win a game, that's a coach trying to see what these players do with real time on the court. It's preseason, that's when you do it.

 

Its cuz when we got him we got Harden, Cp3/WB(forgot) and Rivers all of whom were expected to be the actual pg. He was brought in to be a microwave scorer off the bench like a discount Fred Van Fleet.

Unfortunately seems like he didnt work on his game much, even his scoring didnt translate. Rox now need a capable backup pg.

 

I mean what I take from this is if Harden actually plays in a pre-season game then he's done with being a malcontent to try and get traded...so that would be good for the organization at least.

I didn't think he'd play, that he'd no-show the preseason games (it's only 2 more games) to try and increase pressure for them to trade him.

 

The NBA won't post the shooting stats for tonight's game until tomorrow. In Friday's game we shot 42.9% from midrange. We didn't exactly light it up.

 

We’ll see. I can easily see Tate out working House for PF minutes. House is closer to a SG than a PF, after all.

Tucker is a mystery right now, and showed up late.

And Silas likes Wood at C... “That’s his advantage”... Tate is here working, diving on the floor and making an impact.

 

So much hate for Clemens, he was a great pitcher for Houston

 

This is based on what? Tate likely to get cut bruh. He has played like trash 2/2 games so far.

He is 0 pts with -1 plus minus, thats the impact he made.

 

Exactly, we probably did the same or worse this game. What it this obsession with mid range shots from players who arent good at them.

 

I doubt that House sees any minutes at PF. He's pretty much just a 3.
