Sure, but the Bulls are still an NBA team and the Rockets are down at least 2 starters tonight plus another who might start but would be better as a moderate use bench player.....and the Rockets were still leading when they pulled the guys who will actually make the roster.

He was never known for his passing. Just his deep bombs and leading the nation in scoring. I guess when the shots aren't falling, he's got nothing to offer.

    yup

at least the lob threat is back with Wood so Harden will have an option other than layup or kick it out to the perimeter for bricks on his drives

Clemons is like a 5’3” Charles Barkley.

It costs them 3 yrs of 50k. In a vacuum where the owner doesnt care about money it doesnt matter. In our reality where the owner is in love with LTS it matters.

Plus what about the other talents on the roster? We got like 6 forwards if you cut all of them thats 300k this year and next year that will count towards the cap. Imagine all of them got 3 year deals then what about next year? We sign another group of guys to 3 year deals again so the year after we in the tank for 600k...

Yeah....but still leading an NBA team that was playing all their starters despite the Rockets being down Harden, Wood, and Tucker.

Just like you couldn’t overreact after game 1 now you can’t overreact here as well. It’s all about preseason and getting minutes into these guys to get them ramped up .

If you put Harden out there too and play Wall/Cousins more minutes it makes guys role easier. Like Nwaba and Bruno never dribble as much as they did tonight and Clemons doesn't even play.

It's a pre-season game. It's more for those guys and for vets to feel like they are in shape so yeah I'm not worried about this. I still think with Harden/Wood/PJ this is a very good team.

You can’t count on Harden being there the same with tucker . They could be gone within a couple of weeks or by the deadline.

Are you one of those that want to trade Harden?

Because you cant have it both ways.

Someone like DJ Augustine would help tremendously. Obviously, someone like him, but on a min contract.

There's only a couple important notes to take away from this game.

    1) We need a 3rd PG badly. Someone to replace Rivers.

    2) We still need Wood. Can't be outrebounded when shots aren't falling.

    3) Cousins and Wall still look good and can lead an offense without Harden even when points aren't coming easy.
