I don't think the Sixers will trade Simmons when Harden can walk in 2 years and then they end up in rebuild mode with only injury-prone Embiid there and no potential top 5 player in Simmons. NOW, if they could get Harden to agree to an extension in Philly, then maybe.

That might be the reaching point, yes, but the Rockets are under no obligation to attach any assets considering Harden is the better player

I know exactly who Morey is. He is a vulture who swoops in and tries to take advantage of teams that are in vulnerable situations. If James is out partying in strip clubs without wearing a mask and not showing up for games his value will go down further and further. James is not doing the team any favors right now. He is tanking his value.

Teams don't want to bring that drama to their team unless it's a team with strong leadership. The 76ers aren't one of those teams. It's a risk I personally don't want to see a young team like the Sixers take.

I love James but he's not for the Sixers. Not at the expense of Simmons anyway.

You make a lot of sense. I think what you're proposing is more aligned with reality.

    Creepy.

I'm thinking you're really a 76ers fan, or Ben Simmons only fan.

That’s fair enough too, they will just be who they are. Harden takes that team to probably the best in the East.

Noone is talking about the Rockets adding assets...
Noone is saying the Rockets have to trade Harden only for Simmons + cap filler.
Dude is simply sharing the opinion that the Sixers wont be willing to add picks... could he be wrong? could he be right? YES? Nevertheless its an opinion shared by many.

That is your opinion, but with all due respect, unless you work for the 6ers front office or part of the coaching staff ? It means zilch.

I suspect someone trolling with multiple accounts. It’s sad grown men have to resort to these kind of trolling. Speaks volumes to their mental state. It really does.

Anyway, the front offices jobs are to sort this out. They get paid millions not you and I lol

and guess what, all those assets are gone now. lakers have no draft picks to trade for the next decade. so what would the rockets end up with if simmons said lakers only and we had to trade him?

If it's true butler n the beard have a long time close relationship according to this article, i bet Miami gonna be the destination as long as the front office saw it's enough…even tho seeking different style of game might be a big problem for these two super stars to get along w/ each other or share the ball on court, harden n Butler, one is a little bit laid-back n ball dominant, the other is very very demanding to teammates when things come to nuances as well as extremely self-discipline.

Finally, it all depends on how heats' God father Pat Riley see that…should he saw the trade gonna affect the well-shaped team chemistry which brought them to the final of last season, then he would definitely hardly say yes to the trade.

For us, if Stone n front office were coveting a young prospect also a natural 3-point shooter, without question they would prefer Herro rather than Simmons, after all nowadays 3-point shooting is a must for a super star to have in his arsenal, Ben Summons obviously being overestimated……not mentioned morey too smart to part his young star, wanna win a one-sided trade as usual n h-town might not want to have business tie w/ him at least not now.

This can actually happen. The way Lebron and clutch are running the free agent market . Lebron and Clutch sports are running the free agent market and dictate who goes where now on a whim given their stable of super stars is growing by the day. I say more power to them for being initiative minded
