I've been pushing this for weeks if not months now.

Hield is a HUGE target for Morey.

Rockets need to hijack this trade quick or Rockets leverage to gain Simmons in any Harden trade will be impacted.

    ORL: Buddy Hield
SAC: Eric Gordon, Khem Birch + Magic FRP + 2 Rockets FRP
    HOU: Aaron Gordon, Robert Woodward

    https://tradenba.com/trades/5g7hetVOj

    Wall/McLemore
    Harden/Nwaba
    Tucker/Brown/Woodward
    AG/Bruno
    Wood/Cousins

Or Rockets can trade EGo + Tucker + House + 3 FRP for Hield + Woodward.

    Wall/Nwaba
    Hield/McLemore
    Harden/Brown
    Bruno/Woodward
    Wood/Cousins

That's a lot of assets to unload for Hield and our starting 5 is weaker.

The 3 team trade with AG coming back makes more sense in terms of a balanced roster with quality starting 5 plus fewer FRP going out.

    Harden to the Bucks
    for
    K. Middleton, B Lopez & FRP (unprotected)
    Clean & simple —> doable

Move makes all the other players come together nicely—> Wall, EG, Middleton, Wood, Lopez deep bench, too.

Another benefit is... IF Cousins has a good season he can’t hold us hostage for a overpay contract.

Rockets need THIS guy running and gunning with Wall + picking & rolling with Harden.

And he can rock the D with the best of them.

You can't tell much about the team from a single pre season game, but you can tell this roster feels good about themselves with or without Harden. Wall still looks fantastic, if Beard leaves we better get a good haul because Wall is still very much a centerpiece to build around barring any major injuries. Wall is absolutely the better player than Westbrook and it isn't even close. Silas has these guys feeling good about themselves, building good chemistry and instilling confidence in our youth like Caboclo/Nwaba

Genuinely concerned that a Beard return could damage chemistry, as the current roster is essentially playing to impress him. Why do All-Stars Wall & Cousins have to prove themselves to Beard? F that, we have a good team how it is. You're either in or you're not, Beard, and if you're not, I'm looking forward to moving on & Wall being our franchise star.

It's kind of scary how good both Wall & Cousins look with fresh legs, but I saw this coming, and honestly it doesn't surprise me at all. The potential is apparent, just gotta stay healthy and do what they need to do.

*Final edit. John Wall has a weird amount of confidence for somebody that hasn't played for two years. And it's REAL confidence, it's not fake macho confidence that Westbrook would show. "You better double me!" as he's pissing his pants

Start asking yourself what somebody like a committed Simmons & Thybulle or a Bam & Herro could bring to this team, and not a superstar diva with one foot in and one foot out. We could seriously benefit from a Harden trade, and it sounds almost blasphemous to say but it's true.

Can we turn Chris Clemons into Dean Wade (CLE) or Chris Silva (MIA)?

I would prefer Wade: cheap; 3 year contract; can hit the 3; and has height/ rebounds.

What incentive would either of those teams have in acquiring Clemons?

He is an elite scorer per 36 (like 19 ppg) and because the other players are buried on their respective teams' depth charts,

Moreover, I am typing it into existence.

I think it’s the best of a bad situation, they must be unprotected picks, too. The Bucks just dumped a lot of pick earlier last month. I don’t know what is they have left to give. Middleton seems like a player that would fit in nicely with the new Rocket era. Lopez is too. Both are sneaky good. Cousins will NEED to be paid and paid well. With is health and mental Rockets NEED only years with him. The aging Lopez is a great stability.

Sadly, Harden is not going to stay and he is by far the best player in the trade.

    IF Harden recommits....

2 year- $20 million extension for PJ

Trade Eric Gordon and 2 1st round picks for Aaron Gordon

Potential buyout candidates to replace EGo:
    Demar Derozan
    Patty Mills
    Derrick Rose
    Alec Burks
    Garrett Temple

    Wall / Mills / Brown
    Harden / McLemore / Green
    House / Nwaba / Tate
    A Gordon / PJ / KJ Martin
    Wood / Cousins / Caboclo

Can Harden still get traded right now before the regular season starts?
