Yep, all my fault.....not the player refusing to report to work and honor the contract HE SIGNED, just the fans fault that they aren't bowing down to his ever loving whim and expecting him to act like a grownup and deal with his business in a professional manner.

It is all us fans....who are the issue here....well said....BRILLIANT !

The Rockets would be foolish to extend him before there is resolution with Harden. Yes they should have extended him a year or two ago but my guess is he was offered an extension and turned it down to see if he could leverage more closer to his contract expiring.

PJ’s agent needs to keep him calm and talk with Stone professionally to help broker whatever he can to resolve the Harden situation. It’s not fair to PJ but it is not just a business but it’s also about ensuring the org can make good decisions in order to put a competitive team back on the floor again for the fans. If Harden gets traded which looks likely, PJ will have a ton of suitors on contending teams who will give the Rockets quite a bit to get him. My guess is the Rockets get a decent future 1st even with only one year left on his deal and salary relief.

I feel bad for PJ who is caught up in this mess but for my sake as a fan, I don’t want him extended or traded until the Harden situation is resolved.

What you really mean is if you can't show up for work then we don't need you. Why hasn't PJ reported to training camp yet?

Covid - but honestly, we don't need him this year, we have enough bigs that are taller and more athletic than him - he is an expiring 10m chip to go and get additional help for this team.

PJ is a chip! He is a great asset Stone can use to get what the team needs for James.

PJ is still a great player. Dont let a preseason game gas you up so much. Sheesh man, PJ has always been a professional.

Sheesh bro, worst kind of fan...absolutely terrible.

He has NEVER been a GREAT player, he has been a hard working role player.

I am a Rocket's fan, not a players fan - when the player has outlived his usefulness, or if it is better to trade him like it is with PJ now....I am all aboard.....moving on.

I can appreciate what he did for the last 3 years, and I can also move on to others who are better than him that is life son......you got to move on...you can't hold on......as for your take on others fandom - no one cares what you think about that......NO ONE!

He's been one of the best impact role players in the NBA. He's been our best defender and paramount to what we do. Provide your evidence if you can tell me otherwise, you cant.

How can any person say something so gross. This is straight scummy. Being a fan of logo.....ugh. No one should ever be fan like this.

There are other organizations who do this for players who have been important to their organization. Im a fan who cares about the players. You fit right in with this new TIllman Rockets and thats not a compliment dude.

That's very much overselling it, he's not a great player. He shouldn't even be a starter. In the right role, he can still be a positive player for the team, but....where is he?

He's not a good enough player to put up with very much of his BS, so you better be right, he better be a professional, or he can GTFO.

Harden can pull his BS because he's a top 3 player in the league, PJ Tucker is just Chuck Hayes with a corner 3....and he's turning 36 this season.

He should get a 2yr deal starting at 8-10 million a year...
    He earned it....
Glue guy who never misses a game and does whatever the team needs....
Those type of guys don't grow on trees...

You don't pay someone based on what they were once upon a time, you pay them based on what they are now and what they are going to become. PJ Tucker is no longer a starting quality player and 2 years from now he probably won't be an NBA player at all.

The Rockets shouldn't even consider anything longer than a 1 year extension for him....and even that would be a kindness.
