Also Steven Jackson is a bigot and I hate that I agree with him on this particular matter.

Jackson is correct, this made Hardin looked bad and immature. He needs to be ready Monday to practice and act like a professional.....he is still getting paid

He said Dantoni was one of the worst defensive head coaches in NBA history? Have fun when Harden is gone because we will be mediocre for a long time. Silas himself has been reported as non confrontational. What accountability do you think is gonna go on here?

It's clearly not a coaching issue if he agreed for Silas to become the coach from my understanding. So what is it? Who knows. The man needs to come out and speak for himself and not stupid nba player cryptic talk either. The man own mamma had to come out and say it.

First, **** Stephen Jackson. The idea of this jew-hating piece of **** taking a moral stance on anything is laughable. He's a disgrace to basketball and the BLM movement. Second, the idea of Harden being obligated to support Silas when SIlas literally didn't even reach out to him (which is insane) is really dumb. Third, Harden should obviously not be jet-setting around big indoor parties with rappers during covid. That said, I would love to see more diversity in the coaching ranks and I hope Silas succeeds.

I'm still clapping... especially the part about chasing around after a 26 yr old man who calls himself Lil Baby.

Dude, I know when Harden leaves we are going to suffer for a bit unless something magical happens if we get Ben Simmons and he gets a shooting touch and Wall magically plays like his prime self along with Cousins.

But at the same time that I enjoyed being relevant and reaching conference finals there was a type of enjoyment of watching the Dragic, Lowry Adleman Rockets that just isn't there with this team. Maybe it was the underdog nature but at the same time the game was just more aesthetically pleasing to watch.

Yes, I enjoy more movement in basketball. That's my opinion. It's more aesthetically pleasing to me. Am I bad for believing this? I don't know.

Magic, yea. That's at best an 8th seed that gets swept by the Lakers.

We were always an underdog team here because we had less talent. Yea those teams were real great, fun team that went nowhere. Winning to me is better than underdog culture or whatever.

No its not. Its not inherently bad. It's not inherently winning basket ball either. If you can have fun while we are losing, well Im glad you can, honestly.

All I am saying is that he’s in the argument for the best offensive player of all time. He has a colorable argument which is more than 99% of players can say. He revolutionized how offense is played and his numbers speak for themselves. I’m not saying he’s better offensively than Michael, Shaq, et al...I’m just saying you can make an argument that he is, and that speaks for itself.

If he and James are really cool like that, shame on him for not picking up the phone and calling the dude. I hate when retired players trying to shame current players. When he was in James' shoes he was firing guns in the air and trying to fight fans in the stands.

Harden is far superior in talent than those guys. That's why he won more along with having superior teammates like 2018 CP3.

But you can enjoy watching a NBA game for different reasons and it's usually a combination of multiple reasons. But man, for the Harden era Rockets the motivation was winning a ring and little to do with actually enjoying the product on the court. Harden at times has been very creative and fun to watch. When he goes down hill like a running back all shifty, that's when he's to most fun but over the years he's done less of that and more of just standing at one spot and dribbling the air our of the ball. Was it effective in the regular season and produced all time offensive numbers? Yes.

Was I really entertaining to watch? I mean the step backs when he did them less frequent were fun but damn it just got monotonous after a while.

The Adleman Rockets were fun to watch. Obviously we weren't rooting for high stakes at the time that provides far more entertainment value but at least the product in the court was fun to watch.

Well if you're a great player, you either win the championship or you stay long enough to be considered the problem. It may be time for everyone to part ways really. Maybe Harden gets his chip and you can get back to watching Dragic, Lowry & Adelman type Rocket games. Neither side is wrong. But I think we're all going to miss Les Alexander.

He knows that James will be okay regardless. Silas used to coach Jackson back in Golden State. He and Silas are still tight. He's sticking up for his old coach. This may be Silas' one and only shot as a head coach. Finally, someone is holding James accountable. I wish someone in the organization would do the same.

No he doesn't have an argument. Jordan and Lebron are definitely superior scorers. KD is superior. Kobe is superior.

Those guys I listed are all better "bucket makers". When I mean bucket makers I mean not involving "3>2" and free throw attempts. When there are only 2 or so possessions left in a game and you are down by one where 3>2 doesn't matter and the refs hold the whistle which they usually do in final possessions of games, those guys are supurior scorers because they can get a clean shot off without needing seperation. Harden is bad at getting a clean shot off when he loses his dribble for example while those guys have fancy footwork in terms of keeping their pivot foot and getting a smooth fadeaway over their opponent if they don't have a dribble. They were also far more explosive.

oh, now y’all care about the race of the coach...

none of that energy was present during the coaching search...matter of fact, a few people said we needed to hire a black coach, and they got ridiculed

1 poster called Silas “the minority hire” on here...I didn’t see many rushing to call that person out
