Rockets have been "yes men " to Harden his entire career in Houston

I agree but the only issue IMO is that I never believed Harden could be the No1 guy on a team he's always needed a Tier one player alongside him which he's never had ala KD, Lebron, Kawhi, AD etc. He isn't one to carry his team in big games esp in the playoffs. All of the guys the Rockets have brought in have been a tier lower than Harden. Put Harden with a tier one player and he gets a ring being the No2 guy, why do you think he wants to go to Brooklyn so bad he knows KD will carry him esp in the clutch in the playoffs.

    LOL - truth comes out!

And everyone wonders why I was suspicious of Ra-fell and Tad.

This is very likely why Harden and Russ wanted a say on the next GM.

Tad and Ra-fell are true snakes.

Never know how it gonna come, but it gonna come... Yule C. Take a screenshot right now and save it. Lebron did it right - he was a free agent. He didn’t act like a b**** to his teammates and fans. He decided to be a petulant child/victim. Hogging up all the attention. I’m was a fan till he started with this bullish!t. Saionara Pubic Hair Face. Lol!!!

He's the worst player to watch in history according to a large section of the NBA commentariat.

Better to see a 16 foot contested jumper from Kendall Gill off a curl - that was when the ball was good.

No wonder the market is dry.

He's the most predictable player and it shows its flaws in the playoffs. He's very easy to deny the ball in the 4th as he is very stationary.

And yes his game can become very monotonous.

Last time I checked we follow sports for entertainment.

Worse players can be more exiting than superior players. There are a lot of players more exiting than Duncan that are worse than him.

Pretty much every star guard is more exiting to watch than Harden primarily because there is a lot of spontaneous creativity in other elite guards unlike Harden. Harden used to have a lot of creativity but he's really honed in on a singular set of moves and a singular area of the court to start the attack from.

He does get bashed for no reason and I think his talent will not fully be recognized at how GREAT he is at scoring the ball - but him bailing after the team was built with his input with 2 years left on a contract seems a bit much.

I don't blame guys for wanting to improve their situation, but when you are THE MAN at a place and the org has bent over backwards to your whims, it is pretty crappy to leave because you are not happy with the team you basically built.

Now if it comes out that the team hates Tillman because of his support of the racist Trump - well, that is completely a different matter.

James Harden can win you titles? Have I missed something? He hasnt even led the team to the Finals. Oh I know, its because he has trash teammates, but you guys still felt like Rockets were title contenders.

If you don't build a team with Superstars (IN THEIR PRIME) around Lebron, then Lebron is gone. No way he would have been here as long as Harden.

Saving money on DM/MDA, that we kind of connected the dots. Silas I think is still very much qualified, so I'm not mad there.

Russ getting Covid, because of lax rules in HOU. That's kinda messed up.

Despite DM's recommendation, we could have gotten Chris Finch instead of Bickerstaff, yikes, missed opportunities indeed.

Can Elon just buy the team from Tilly now?

Man, I'm pissed at Harden right now, but the reporting on this is going a bit overboard. They're acting like he's ruining the league. This has been going on for a while (see Kawhi, Butler, ADavis for most recent examples). VC and T-Mac were pretty bad too. Harden misses a few practices and he's the worst thing ever. LOL ok

I just lol how people make this out to be a big thing.

So does every single star in the NBA.

So does every single star in the sporting world.

You know why? Because the owner doesn't want to offend the coddled children because they're one perceived slight away from being in sports purgatory by annoying them and them wanting to be gone.

People who make a big deal about this really don't understand professional sports.

    yes.

Playoff Harden has not lived up to regular season Harden.
that's his similarity to T-Mac minus all the first round exits.

You got show your rivals who's the man. He didn't do that to Golden State, the Spurs or Lakers.

I mean, Dream dunked on Kareem in 86 and took the team to the finals in his second year.
    That's what I want.

T-Mac actually shows up in the playoffs, almost single handedly took down the Pistons in ‘03.
