No, you find someone else with stronger character than Harden - if we honestly DON'T believe Harden can do it, then I am 100% behind trading him ASAP.

The Spurs & Heat have pampered players and have built championship teams too. The Rockets haven't won in 25 years. If we can trade Harden's ass and build a champion lets do it.

Mchale never said it doofus, DD said he hinted at it.

    Talk about not making sense.

If you are gonna try and engage at least keep up.

People that don't want to believe their hero is sluffing off - are not going to agree - even if all the indicators are there and people are NOW saying it.

You can't argue with someone who idolizes someone...they are not going to be reasonable.

Harden is a great individual basketball player a flawed human being an a lousy leader.

I am ready to move on......or let him sit and rot.

wonder if Harden is self-aware enough to realize he's tanked his reputation enormously in the last month?
all he had to do was be quieter about it.

I don't really peg Harden as the introspective type.

he makes enough money to not care about it. Harden is really aloof. It’s in line with the idea that there’s a lax culture of little structure with James here and that Westbrook couldn’t handle that. Hearing quotes from guys it seems there’s a lot more structure under Silas, a culture shift that Tillman wanted happening and Harden probably doesn’t like it and takes it personal as well.

What is so funny is that Tilman is so stupid that he fails to realize these leaks only make his organization look poorly and only hurts the value of his most valuable asset (Harden). So he can keep feeding McMahon and Woj all these stories out of spite but he is cutting off his nose to spite his face.

They said the same thing in Phoenix so no, not unless an infant Harden was instructing him to have fewer practices.

There were some articles mid to last season that described WB's OCD in how everything needed to fit in a routine or he'd "break" during games.

Seems like he blamed his playoff busts over the lack of that control.

I am guessing Harden and Westbrook grew quite a bit over the years. What worked for them in 2012 didn't work for them in 2020. 2 guys that were friends but did things COMPLETELY DIFFERENT in terms of preparation and culture. They didn't realize it would clash.

They've catered to Harden as if he were a baby. Couple that with the "enabler" fanbase and you get a spoiled little Hardhead.

I will say to the Rockets credit they got a hell of a lot out of him making believe he’s the next Jordan. He kinda became Jordan esque. People can’t lose sight of that.

However trading CP3 for Westbrook is where you draw the line. Not sure that move was worth another year of Harden greatness at the cost of whatever it cost us in leading and lagging indicators.

Organizations just need to be self aware of what they are doing and stand ready to act when that star player will suddenly thinks it’s okay to microwave fish in the office break room.

Tim McMahon is going full b**** mode for Tilman Fertitta.

TF's hand is so far up Tim's ass I'm getting Bill Barr deja vu.

This BS narrative does not jive with the known James Harden who loves to hoop and even when CP3 cancels practices, Harden is still in the gym hooping.

This was Tillman’s people doing damage control indeed. I mentioned this to Nook earlier.
