He won't because Denver actually pays to surround Murray with threats at every position. That's what Harden is asking for. This team fills a hole by creating another glaring hole on the team every year! Except for Morey's 2017 2018 team this team hasn't ever filled every position properly. Sorry but winning a title isn't cheap. Golden State, Lakers, Miami, San Antonio... they all paid! Even the Astros paid! If Tillman really wants a title then he needs to go out there and get another Stud to play with Harden!
This gets used a lot but would just like to say it’s very rare that if a trade doesn’t work straight up then bringing in a third team would work. Like using the Nets as an easier example, if any of those players besides Levert were worth a lottery pick in the first place, then Houston would have wanted that said player. The highest pick would be a 3rd team giving up perhaps a low lottery for Levert, but then that takes away from Houston cuz they’d want at least Levert and that lottery pick on top of it.
Definitely not a fan of Tillman but it is literally impossible to improve this team right now even if he was willing to pay.

He also said we were close to trading for Wood last season and even before the media said anything about us being in the running for Wood he mentioned Houston was basically a done deal. It’s proof that one good performance on a playoff stage makes everyone forget how inconsistent you were before that. More people probably remember JR Smith for his hot shooting Finals appearances with the Cavs than an entire career of boneheaded plays. Ironically Harden has been exactly the opposite - has been one of the best, most consistent players for a solid decade but because he has played poorly in most of his most watched games, everyone thinks for some absurd reason that Murray is some sort of upgrade. The fact is Murray wasn’t even better than Gary Harris up until fairly recently.
He might just be a really smart kid who's good at predictions, and for whatever reason focused on the Rockets. Nonetheless, it has made the offseason more interesting.
