Not liking how Stone is portrayed here but I also realise that's how the game is played.

Him saving 8 million by losing MDA and Morey is an eye opener.

Really the league wasnt going to help Morey help James that's why no matter what deals were made we always were either drawing even or mortgaging our own future.

I donno....Im gonna have a hard time liking this guy....because frankly he's always gonna be a step down from Morey. It doesnt make it any better that he was Fertitta's favorite before all of this.

That’s not correct though, he did want Cp3 gone. And he didn’t like Dwight and didn’t get along well but Dwight wanted to leave as much as Harden want it us to get rid of Dwight.

The person that wanted all of them and others was Morey. He wanted Dwight, Chris, Bosh, Melo. If anyone has gotten it’s way it has been Morey. He got MDA to follow his system and stats.
he almost had the perfect team before the team got sold and Tilman forced Morey’s hand. Rumors were we were getting something from Miami but it never happened because of money or they didn’t pull the trigger on the deal. Both years we had Cp3 we had additions before the trade deadline but we had other rumors of getting good players or better players. But we never did.

We also don’t know if Harden wanted Russ gone, it’s just speculation atm. He might have warned Russ what he was planning. If these new rumors are true and Morey knew ofc Harden would have told his buddy of all this. That he would force or Try to be traded to the Sixers with the help of Morey.

Even before all this drama people said Harden might try to ask to be traded to the Sixers when Mike left and rumors were he was signing with the sixers. Mike left way before Morey left, so perhaps Mike was gonna sign there but Harden didn’t want Mike as a coach anymore. It all just points out that there was a plan before all this.

Russ wanted out bad so it might be that Harden warned Russ that He would force his way to the Sixers. So Russ forced his way out and asked to be traded.
We have heard a bunch of rumors all this drama. Maybe all this noise or drama is to cover up the real plan or intentions. So that the Rockets don’t connect the dots.

The longer I think about it the longer it seems more likely that Morey and Harden had this planned.

Probably because they hate or dislike Tilman and he is cheap. The team had to sacrificed not getting better players or better depth just to save money for Tilman.

Morey left out of nowhere and the team didn’t get any compensation. Morey said he would take some time off but now we know he sign with the sixers right away.
Morey and the Sixers probably want to keep Ben, Embiid and keep as much of their core and give us bad deals like Tobias Harris.

I wouldn’t trade Harden to the sixers if I was Tilman or Stone unless we get Ben Simmons or embiid and multiple 1st round picks.

This might sound crazy but guys connect the dots. Recall those first rumors of Mda signing with the sixers. Morey signing there right after he stepped down from the Rockets. And how all this trade demands only point to the best destination “for us” to trade Harden is the Sixers. All this new contenders or broader list is just the same as asking for the Nets.

I always felt uncomfortable with the way Morey praised James. IMO it was too much; it made me cringe sometimes. It looked like he was giving the impression that James was above the team and mattered more than the others. Even when it was true, it felt like some things should have not been said. Of course James wants to reunite with the GM that was constantly putting him on a pedestal.

    To summarized my last posts

MOREY and Harden had this planned all along.
They both want Harden to be trade to the Sixers.

MDA was rumored to be signing to the sixers.
Morey stepped down/ signs with the sixers.

Russ got warned so that he could forced his way out too.

Nets or others in the list are just a façade.

Asking for the Nets first was to cover up so that people didn’t connect the dots or saw his true intentions. The Nets have nothing good besides KD. Other in the list don’t have anything good either.

And to stay on topic, who has been the yes man to Harden all these years. Morey

Jordan delivered. Harden not so much. He better do something quick before he end up like Melo.

I was feeling the same way at 1st but had started warming up to him with what I read and the moves he has mad.

At the end of the day I think Harden has empowered Stone because I would hate to what would have happened if Tillman was comfortable.

This not gonna end well for the Rockets. if this was true it would have been out before and nobody has ever heard that Harden misses practices.

I am waiting for anybody else other than the "rockets" saying this.

McHale hinted at it...and his wife flat out said it.

    Melo LOL!

He has already surpassed Mello who never got past the 2nd round and was always missing the playoffs.

    Too cute.

After everything else that McHale has said about Harden he would have done more than hinted at it.

    But believe what you want.

Ariza and Westbrook I believe might have mentioned to some sources a lack of accountability before. CP3 also was shipped out after criticizing Harden's lack of off ball movement.

What? That logic makes no sense. He did say it. What does your statement even mean? Because he said it, he needs to say it a second time?

That matters to who? He's toxic and eventually when he does peak, crash and burn he will, like Melo, still believe he was more than he currently is.

Also under Dantoni wasn't he known for doing fewer practices than leave average? I wonder if that jad anything to do with Harden?
