Ehh I mean not really. When Harden went to the club or out to eat or hung out with his friends, he was doing that on his own time when Westbrook was there. It's not like he made the whole team go. However, there were things James had more say over in Houston than Westbrook did. For example, under MDA the Rockets did their practices a particular way and that way was hoe Harden and MDA wanted to run practices. That was was different than how Westbrook was used to practicing. In OKC Westbrook could speak up and have the practices ran how he was comfortable running them.... he couldn't do that in Houston because the Rockets ran them the way way MDA ran them, which was how Harden was comfortable..... there were other examples for example how the locker room was organized was how Harden wanted it....... and that was different than how WB wanted it.

WB even alluded to it when he said he wanted to run his own team the way he wanted...... at the end of the day, Harden was "the guy" in Houston.

Let's put it this way. Yes most superstar players are pampered. But some have the maturity to not be overwhelmed by it. Lebron is someone who has that maturity.

Also Harden was in the finals on OKC....he is just not a lead dog on a finals team - the closest we got was with CP3, and Harden didn't like CP3 spewing truth bombs so forced him out.

Harden's lack of self awareness of him being a good part of the reason the team is not good enough is the problem.

MJ had this issue too, so did Hakeem, their coaches were able to get through to them and convince them that doing less is actually MORE for the team.

Teams are going to want him now because? Ya.. just keep driving his stock down... no team is going to trade their potential star for a diva that will immediately want them to bow down to him.

Let me put it this away, ALL STARS ARE PAMPERED. Lebron is pampered and it has rubbed folks the wrong way as well. Lebron has had a pampered posse since day 1 my friend. Ask Phil Jackson.

Well let me know when Lebron is the patreon saint of strip clubs, parties indoors with hundreds of people during a pandemic and occasionally shows up to a season overweight and is known for atrocious defense.

No one is ARGUING that it doesn't happen, but NOT ALL STARS are AS pampered as Harden was/is.

Sure you include them in org decisions, but when they try to force trades for players you KNOW make you worse you say no.

    Exactly.

And NONE of them have had 2+ years left on their contract and tried this crap.

One ALARMING thing though - is this is pretty DAMNED clear this has 100% to do with Tillman....

    1. D'Antoni left to be an ASSISTANT coach
    2. Morey left for essentially the same job.
    3. Westbrook wants out
    4. Harden wants out
    5. PJ wants out

I mean - when Tillman says he is going to change the culture......the people that set that culture up - left in a hurry.

Look Lebron is a better player than Harden and his off-seasons are a BIG reason why (Along with natural Talent) But do you think that Harden is the ONLY NBA player that go to strip clubs, parties indoors with hundreds of people during a pandemic? Okay

Does Harden owe you money or something? You dating his sister? Why are you making excuses for everything he does?

I mean - come on man - you can't have your nose that far up his shorts......

Telling the facts is now defending?

The upset that Harden causes you all is hilarious.

Look Dude, this organization hasn't won dick in 25 years. So to act like Harden is holding this organization back is silly. Harden is screwing his reputation with how he's going about this but I'm a Rockets fan. The guy wants out, let's trade him and move on. Ding Dong the witch is dead. Then what? Is Tillman going to build a champion? Is he going to spend the money? Organizations build championship squads and when they get another star guess what? They're going to have to pamper him. It's just the way it is.

This spells doom for James getting traded to a contender he really overplayed his hand. I believe the Rocketsare going to trade him to a team with all the assets and young guys and that will be that. Whoever his manager is really hurt him.
