Silas should post a copy of all the derogatory tweets and articles on Hardens locker.

Now that we’re not beholden to defending him, Harden’s pros are:

    1. Historic scoring
    2. Historic efficiency
    3. Great court vision
    4. Underrated on ball defense, elite post defense
    5. Great durability, plays through minor injuries

    Harden’s cons are:
    1. Poor off ball defense
    2. Not a leader. Not vocal, mostly passive aggressive
    3. Mixed clutch time play with some historic stinkers in elimination games
    4. Conditioning/nutrition/body fat % not up to NBA elite standards
    5. Cares too much about regular season counting stats to load manage so that he’ll be at 100% come playoff time

He’s a top 6-7 NBA player. Better than Curry and has been his whole career. This ESPN thing is another hit job trying to minimize his value so that we get as little possible in a trade for him.

Told y’all, China and the League is gonna be blackballing the rockets to save face for Daryl’s comment. Personally, I don’t care. GTFO Harden.

So did somebody just pulls names from a hat?

In no ****ing world is Anthony Davis, 2020 Steph Curry and Damian Lillard better than James Harden. You can also add repaired Achilles Durant to the list.

It’s amazing to me how the media consistently forces Anthony Davis into the top 3 players conversation. At no point has he been anywhere close to the player James Harden is. A ring doesn’t change that.

If this rank is a prediction of who will be best in the upcoming regular season and postseason, as opposed to an analysis of who has been the best player in recent years, then fine. It's a toss-up right now how good a season Harden will end up having, given that it's not clear if he'll even show up and play the games.

Very cleverly disguised plot to lower his trade value.

that’s the only sense I can make from this list!!

If we were paying the luxury tax and seriously using our MLE at every opportunity to improve the team, which we NEVER did, I would have zero sympathy and have this whole situation really bother me.

But we didn’t. We squandered the best years of a top 30 player by never paying big to truly give us the best chances possible. Not to mention over the last 10-15 years the list of star players that have stayed 8 years in one city is short. It’s not like this was a year or two and split.

And trust me I despise Westbrook. I hated the trade immediately. It will go down one of the worst trades in NBA history. Hardenhaving a role in bringing the most over rated player of the last decade to our team and what it cost is the one thing Harden did during his time here that I will always hold against him.

I just haven’t really let this situation bother me. I think in the end any games he plays for us he will still be awesome and if/when he’s traded this won’t have hurt the package we get in return in any way.

Harden needs all the motivation he can get right now. Man up and prove these idiots wrong or sulk and look like a fool. I know it's just ESPN bait, but if ever there was a good time for this crap it'd be now.

Agreed. This was the biggest problem with the list. Dame should be an honorable mention.

I saw Luka crying after losing a series. I saw Harden at the strip club after getting stuffed by a 40 year old Manu.

I’d take Booker, Murray and Mitchell over Harden as well when you factor in age. If you factor in playoff performance/potential it becomes even more of a no-brainer. Booker hasn’t made the playoffs yet but there’s no way he only makes 4 total shots in a game 7 while letting Luguentz Dort become a major storyline and drop 30.
