If both players are available (in a package) which would you choose?

I would take Simmons, holding out hope that he can learn to shoot a respectable J. If so, a true superstar.

Herro is a stud. He's not afraid of big moments. You can't teach that. Sky high confidence.

Simmons isn't the perfect player... but career averages of 16/8/8 plus Rookie of the year, all defensive nba team, all nba team and a season steals leader is no fluke. Herro has great potential but if you have to swing a deal now you take Simmons all day.

To me bro it's not. This dude Herro can ball. This guy is a rookie beating his chest, snarling and ****. Simmons is a stud too but can't shoot or is willing to shoot....TF? A big if. Herro has star power and proved it in the playoffs.

You take Simmons in a heartbeat. He’ll develop a manageable jumper eventually. He just needs confidence. Kid is 24

Although Ben Simmons cant shoot, he plays with such great IQ. Funny thing is Ben Simmons probably can shoot a little, but he just doesnt attempt them. He went 2-7 from 3 last season. I would take him going 2-7 from 3 every game to be honest.

Simmons by far. Their potential isn’t comparable. Herro at BEST is a fringe all star. A diet Devin Booker.

Simmons, easily, but I could wrap my head around a Heat package of Herro, Precious, Robinson and picks (along with Iggy and Olynyk for matching salaries). You get the better All-Star with a Philly deal, but you can probably get more quality young players in a deal with Miami.

I love herro..he’s always in the gym and commited to getting better. The fact is Ben simmons is just too good even without his shot. Dude, is great defensively, tall and lenghtly for a PG. Simmons will shut down harden when we meet up.

Not sure if OP is a sixers fan trying to devalue Simmons to discourage a trade or a Heat fan who wants to drive up Herro to get Harden.

Tyler Herro= Courtney Lee for all we know. I’d be absolutely devastated and would seek a therapist.

All next to jimmy buckets. He’s no Batman, helluva robin though. So no you absolutely don’t trade harden for this dude. It’s not that difficult fellas.

I like Tyler Herro, but Ben Simmons is the much better player, and it’s not close.

Simmons doesn’t have the confidence to even attempt a jump shot

his form is hideous...it’s so bad people have been saying he needs to start shooting with his right hand instead

Simmons’ chance of developing a reliable or manageable jump shot is close to zero

with that said, I agree u still take Simmons

Herro + Bam vs Simmons u can discuss...Herro himself vs Simmons? No
