Tillman has given the task of finding the best booty delicious honey strippers from world wide in a last ditch to convince harden to stay. Stone loving his job right now

If you make that deal, George needs to sign an extension. Otherwise, the main piece you're getting back in the trade is just a one-year rental. I'm not sure you can win a title with him as your No. 1, but maybe on a team like this that has a true PG and other solid offensive pieces, you can get by with a so-so No. 1 offensive weapon?

The Heat can make a pretty strong offer if they choose to.

They can build a trade package centered around:

Herro, Achiuwa, Iguodala, Olynyk, Bradley and a pair of #1 draft picks

Herro is only 20 years old and under team control for atleast 3 years.

Achiuwa is a very good young prospect that can defend and has upside as a starter.

The Heat have some draft picks a few years down the line.

Iguodala and Olynyk are expiring and would drop the Rockets pay roll by nearly 35 million next year.

    The Heat
    Dragic
    Harden
    Butler
    Harkless
    Adebayo

    The Rockets
Would then would have several young players and could still trade Tucker for another draft pick

The awkward situation where you get traded to a team where it's top player you basically said he has no skill.

If only we could find a team that thinks James Harden is worth what he thinks he's worth.

Seriously, screw this guy. I'm done. Preferred destinations my @ss. Eastbound is gutless. I've defended Harden for years and years, but all this is just obnoxious. Houston has turned the team around into something that could be deep playoff bound again if he commits, but he's scared of LA and wants to protect his legacy, which is that of not showing up in the moments that matter. I want to believe that he does, but I can't ignore the vast amount of games where he laid down and didn't enforce his will, when Rockets needed him most. I live in Dallas now, and it makes me think of Romo and all those amazing stats, but never coming through in the clutch playoff moments. If he seriously can't give this squad a chance then f him, and his legacy in Houston will be tarnished from potential Rockets legend to not remembered in 10yrs.

Oh if the rockets can somehow get Herro in a deal for harden still wanting out, you absolutely do it.

future all star/all nba player down the road. I’d much prefer him over Simmons easily

Yeah, i just don't see either team as a good partner here, with Miami would be difficult to make it work i guess, and i don't think they would trade both Bam and Herro so...as for the Bucks they just don't have anything worth at this point, Middleton is a good player on a huge contract, i don't want the Rockets to be bound to mediocrity with zero upside whatsoever for years, and that's exactly what a team with Wall and Middleton would be. I'd rather take the Nets package and tank for three seasons.

Middleton, Simmons, Brown are intriguing as All-star pedigree already. Simmons and Brown are the youngest. Middleton is a very versatile player but is now 29 years old. Not sure he should be a headliner in a Harden trade but he is a true all-star caliber player but would need another young piece included in the trade and multiple picks which I don't think the Bucs have. Maybe they can trade Robin Lopez + pieces for picks and/or young talent? Still not sure it is enough since Middleton probably won't move the needle that much. Middleton could likely be routed to a 3rd team as well for a young piece + picks

Not sure Herro is enough for me as I worry he could be just a shooter down the line and we need as close to a franchise player as possible but he is only 20 years old. Just looking through the Heat's roster, Duncan Robinson and Kendrick Nunn might be good pieces/assets to get + Precious? Anyone the Heat target in the draft seems to turn into gold for them so they might be the best trade partner since they are so good at evaluating talent and drafting.

Actually yeah, he can. He didn’t sign an extension or anything. Makes $19.1M this year and $20M next year.

The only deal you accept is if Philly is willing to include Simmons or if you can get Murray/MPJ from Denver. If not you just wait it out.

I’d love to get Herro back in a deal, but I can’t see Miami gutting their team for Harden. They have a gritty culture and Harden is on a team looking to reset the culture he set the tone for.

James is not going to get away with no lazy **** there.
