James needs 6 negative covid test to rejoin team

Simmons will develope an adequate 3 point shot when Shaq learns to make free throws. He's not 14 anymore, that ship has sailed.

We testing for just Covid or Covid and STD's? That's alot of nose probing and throat probing/ swabbing?

Is this report a shams way of saying he'll be tested every day of his 7 day quarantine? I mean in that case why stop at 6. With daily testing he'll need 300 more at least.

If Harden would be willing to fit into Silas's system wholeheartedly without him aimlessly dribbling all day and then chucking up a last-second hero shot, then maybe, but otherwise, I am okay with him leaving, that brand of basketball (ISO) is IMO so boring to watch, dumb and limiting.

I've always loved watching the Spurs because there's so much movement, sharing of the ball and off-the-ball screens. I hope that style of play will be what the Rocket's will do going forward or something like it - even the Durant/Curry/Thompson Warriors, ultra-talented players that they are, under Kerr's astute offensive philosophy, didn't rely only on dumbo-ISO, but rather it was a mutli-faceted approach with off-the-ball screens, pick and rolls, pin-down screens and back-cuts with Curry, and nonstop movement to keep defenders off-balance. That team was so talented but didn't just rely ONLY on their stars going one-on-one (even though they had ISOs in their scheme) but had a variety of offensive schemes to choose from, Triangle, motion-weak offense, etc to get EVERYONE involved and to make it easier for their stars to score.

I am hopeful with Silas, more so than I have been with any other Rocket coach that we will finally become more sophisticated and cerebral with our offensive schemes.

 

Chris Webber and Karl Malone improved their free throw shooting. Webber directly cited Shaq's lack of effort.

 

So Harden will be able to practice by Monday ?

 

Webber and Malone always at least had a jump shot. Shooting was something they were able to do. Shaq and Simmons don't shoot jumpers. AT ALL.

 

He takes one day off so the strippers can take a break

 

I hope he is traded before Monday. Harden was my guy, but he can kick rocks. Hopefully Rafa can clean house ( yep you too EG and Tucker)

nowadays you have to be somewhat easily amused dont you think? Everybody is so serious and ready to call each other stupid and dumb for not agreeing with their world view or Houston rockets opinion. we have to be able to laugh at ourselves and accept that life is too short to be grumpy and salty all the time.
