I don’t think Tilman signs off on Philli
My guess is we okay it out until the trade deadline at the very least

Read the wording of the quotes. This is total speculation.

Simmons will be a Sf/PF here and Wall is on game management . Will be nursed throughout the year.
Wall is also a good catch and shoot player.

    @D-rock

Make the Ben for Harden trade
Ship EG and a pick to Orlando for AG
Send PJ to wherever you can get the best pick.

    Ben
    AG
    Wood

    Plus a gang of picks

That’s a great start to the rebuild or retool. Super young.

Agreed. But hypothetically we’ve all been waiting for the Philly and Simmons shoe to drop, right? if it’s on the table now, u should take it. Now. Not next year and not when Morey knows that the teams James will re-sign with are dwindled down to **** and can scare off interested suitors.

not only that but Simmons is most likely the best young foundational player you’ll get in a return

I love Harden but if we gotta deal, this gets it done for me.

    Celtics Get:

    James Harden
    PJ Tucker

    Rockets Get:

    Jaylon Brown
    Marcus Smart
    Aaron Nesmith

Probably needs a Harden opt-in to do that. There's definitely a point of diminishing returns for Harden's value - it's probably somewhere between right before the trade deadline and the off-season...probably right before the trade deadline. A lot will depend on how good teams with their young stars will be. What's Harden's market again (besides picks)? Simmons, Brown, Siakam, Wiseman/Wiggins etc...one of those teams will suck more than expected and Harden's value will gain. Now if the Rockets suck this season and every team with a young star is playing well, Harden's value will suffer. It's an interesting dilemma.

Wait, I thought we were talking about Richard. If it's Bill, I want way more picks.

I just dont think its plausible, too soon.

Morey & Doc have already said they want to see Ben & Joel tandem.

Cannot see it happening unless Simmons or Embiid push for it.

Philly is a tough place to live if you're not shooting straight with fans or media.

i dunno brehs... i still think we should trade beard for dimwiddie and 2nd round picks. we're trying to tank and save tillmen moneys here. playoff aspirations will have the opposite effect.
