On Earth 2, the Rockets hired the coach Harden wanted, and Harden is asking to be traded anyway.

At some point, after a series of bad moves to placate your star, you have to say no.

    Earth 2?

Is this some kind of sci-fi reference?

Refs had plenty to do with it. If you drive to basket non stop with no calls why would you continue to do it? Completely messed up our game plan and forced us to shoot threes which we weren't hitting. Don't forget Harden also hit a four point play that was magically taken off the board that really woulda swung the momentum. Harden actually played well in game 7 considering the circumstances. The rest of the team was straight trash.

Agreed! Thousands of people quit their jobs every day, unfortunately for your argument, James Harden isn't one of them.

He can up and quit the Rockets any time he pleases. He won't have to be paid his remaining 88 million and wont get to work for the Rockets or any NBA team again.

Harden isn't resigning his job and salary, he's simply throwing a tantrum.

Looking at this objectively .... and without my Rockets colored glasses on , Minus Harden they are probably on the outside looking in at the Western conference playoffs.

This conference has been deep for a decade and .500 teams have been on the outside looking in while in the east 35 win teams have snuck in.

In no particular order - which three teams are the Rockets ahead of for the 8 seed without Harden?

    LAL
    LAC
    Denver
    Dallas
    Portland
    GSW
    PHX
    Utah
    NO

I also want to add one more thing. It is a key word. TRUST. Harden doesn't trust people easily. He might have trusted Lue more than Silas. BUT, that doesn't mean he doesn't like Silas or think he will be good. Just that he TRUSTS Lue more.

    Harden TRUSTED Morey.
    Harden TRUSTED MDA.

Harden does NOT TRUST Tilman (Not paying the LT)
Harden does NOT TRUST Stone (maybe that will change)

Harden doesn't even have an agent. Might not TRUST one. He TRUSTS his mom.

    With Harden, it is TRUST.

    I prefer Silas over Lue.

But Lue was never going to leave the Clippers. His interview around the block was formality and maybe drive up his own price.

Thought Harden/Russ was OK with Lucas, who's still on the staff. And didn't they gave the OK on Silas?

All these news reports, grain of salt.
