This is weird. I thought Weaver was known for his defense.

 

No no no...... Ben's job isn't to think or drive or do anything except take 3's and smile.

 

He has a background in both, but he is primarily known for defense. I expected him to be in charge of the defense.

 

They can do some drops two's and be okay.

Also from what I remember, Turner wasn't exactly the best at shading or adjusting.

 

Desagana Diop was one of the worst shooters and a scrub, there can only be improvement.

Our drop coverage was also garbage.

 

It was, everything that they ran was garbage but keep in mind this team is different...... Wall is not mentally r****ded when it comes to reading the floor..... Wood and Cousins and Nwaba all are new too.

 

Why would they go from the switch scheme that made us so good defensively?

 

First, no RoCo.

Second, maybe this is signal that they are really moving on from PJ.

If Rockets replace with the Mavs sewage defense I will be fvcking pissed.

He could have done this stuff last year, there is no better way to do that stuff than going by a defender closing out to the 3 point line.
