Missing a couple of days of camp does not bother me, it was needed to turn the heat up on Tillman and make him uncomfortable IMO.

I think some are taking this much to personal, I am gonna wait and see how it all plays out?

What I'm saying is that the MLE is all the rockets will likely have next season, unless they trade Harden and EG for expiring contract. So if they extend PJ or not this season, it won't make a difference in our cap unless we trade Harden and EG for expiring contracts. We won't have cap space regardless.

I'm more stating a hypothetical for PJ as terms of 2 years/$20M. In reality, I rather trade him away from an asset if Harden is going to be traded.

So you are using age instead of performance as a basis for employment?

You do realize that is illegal in the United States right?

A 2 year extension is not foolish.

Im willing to wait to see how it plays out , just like i waited after tilman's first year of not paying the LT.

I think i know who TIlman is now , but he could always prove me wrong.

Whatever the result of the stunt , harden still was reckless and i didnt like it. I dont mind not showing up ... but the partying is bad ( not during a normal year , but during this year ) who know .. maybe lil baby had sick safety protocols.

Harden turned the dial right up to 11 . I dont see any more major roster moves we can pull , if this is about improving the team it doent make sense. Therefore, it means his trade request is legit ? Which sucks . OFC people are gonna take it personal , we are all fans here. We can be a bit indignant.

If demarcus and john bust out , and wood aint good .. then we better trade james otherwise he has every right and incentive to leave after next year. Just like james needs to be patient if he really wants a trade .. the rox cant be too patient otherwise the already slim number of suitors will diminish and we wont get a good trade.

I agree fully on the partying, that was a bad look and it was tone deaf and just wrong.

We are agreement on this for the most part, my issue is with everybody taking it personally and thinking they are owed something.

Wall and Boogie are going to be busting their tail because it is like a contract year to them.

Wood is also trying to win some fans over.

I honestly can see Harden chill in 4th quarters this season.

Hopefully Silas is legit and can earn Harden's respect so he can have another confidant/father figure like he had with MDA and Morey. Curious to know if John Lucas has been in touch with Harden since they are obviously close too. If anyone can talk man to man with Harden, it is John Lucas. I am sure Lucas and Silas love working with all of this new talent. Let's hope it translates to success.

His performance has dipped already though, and age is ALWAYS a factor when you are talking about professional athletes.

They tried but couldn't get him to pry his lips off Silas' ass... so they just took pictures without him.

Performance should always be THE factor and PJ's play is deserving of an extension.

Giving him a long term extension would be foolish. I would give him a one year extension if Harden is on board. Tucker is a very good defensive player and useful but he is really best suited to be a superb bench player.

I'm fine with a one year extension, but nothing beyond that. Tucker turns 36 before the end of THIS season and already is showing signs of being done or near done.

Now this surprises me a little bit. I am not surprised that Silas doesn't have formal titles but I am surprised that he is having Weaver lean more towards offense. He has been very effective as a defensive coach. I am also surprised Lucas leans defensively as well.
