Saw this elsewhere, but it would be great irony (not to mention great fun) if these same states banded together to file with SCOTUS to invalidate Texas' election, citing Republican voter suppression and disenfranchisement in Harris County.

trump is trying for this and anything as comical as it might be.

it is good to know this info about possibilities no matter how remote. trump wants so bad for anything he can to go supreme court where he think he has a sure win always

Well I disagree. It has not been remote for several weeks. Trump is grifting for money the email showed donations only had to go for a portion in defense/lawsuits. He also is doing these things based on his personality because he doesn’t want to say he lost. But again, it goes back to grifting with even this. He will stretch all of this out for years with mentions of running again to “raise” more money.

He knows this is all futile and has known since probably a week or so after the election.

Being informed is one thing but having hysterical opinions about a serious coup is not only funny but a waste of time.

Unanimously by 7 GOP appointed justices.

“Because the challenge fails to present any evidence of ‘misconduct,’ ‘illegal votes’ or that the Biden Electors ‘did not in fact receive the highest number of votes for office,’ let alone establish any degree of fraud or a sufficient error rate that would undermine the certainty of the election results, the Court need not decide if the challenge was in fact authorized under A.R.S. § 16-672 or if the federal ‘safe harbor’ deadline applies to this contest,” the ruling continued, referring to the state’s code for challenging an election on the grounds of misconduct.

Trump still looks in the mirror each day seeing a rich playboy who just won another term. He's completely out of touch with reality. It's going to be fun watching his world come tumbling down around him. Trumpty Dumpty is about to have a great fall, and all his Cult followers and brown shirts men won't be able to put Trumpty together again.

And what does the Arizona Supreme Court ruling have to do with that?

it does you blame the "especially resistance from Democrats in having the SC officially give an opinion on the legal arguments being made"

whether is state or US SC, where has the democrats forced the SC to do the opposite of what they are supposed to do in adherance to the constition?

where is the "resistance from Democrats"?

you have trump and his maga threatening/begging state governors and election offcials and begging SC whether state or US justices

and here you are crying about "resistance from Democrats" LOL

and what's the "legal arguments being made"?? what is the strongest suit you think trump has which should be heard by the US SC ?

It would be funny if it didn't have some severe implications to the trust and faith in our systems.

I still don’t see how this story counters what I was arguing. I think it’s good for the Supreme Court to give opinions on these cases. To the extent Democrats are arguing that they shouldn’t, as you and others did, I think that sends a signal that hurts the cause of getting as many people as possible to accept the legitimacy of the election results.

I agree, it would be great fun to do similar things as long as it benefits the left. Russia messed up the 2016 election and the right needs to pay.

You were literally arguing in that thread that the SC should not give such an official opinion, and are now trying to say that I made up that Dems are resistant to it.

    Whatever.

LOL no. everyone was saying SC should't hear if it legally doesn't merit a hearing. that's not resistance. that's called following the law and constitution.

while you are saying SC should hear it even if it legally doesn't merit a hearing. that's circumventing the law and constitution.
