LOL you are a moron if you think the Nuggets wouldnt do a straight swap for Harden for MPJ ...like a complete idiot. But youve proven that time and time again how little you know about basketball.
And yet hes still a 2 time All Star in 3 seasons. NBA ROY and NBA All Defense Team. That's impressive for one so limited. And a 23 year old All Star on 5 year 30M per is an amazing contract.
I meant in your trade package with hopes to trade for klay down the road. I think that’s way to be of a risk when u already have a player in wall where u are gambling on health. Sure, wiseman could be great, he could be a bust and theoretically yes everything is a risk- but there’s calculated risks and I think taking back injured players w hopes to flip later is too big a risk. u need a “sure thing” quote un quote or a young player whose proven w great upside
I’m just preparing myself to be disappointed in whatever the ultimate outcome of a Harden trade is Even if we do get Simmons, do I think Klutch Sports will want him in Houston long term? Nope. He will wait a few years and start planning his exit strategy.
no, I don’t think that plays a factor. That deal was just trying something different and getting a pick. His fit with Simmons is irrelevant in my book. if you make the Simmons trade, you aren’t trying to compete this year...you’re trying to compete in 3. Playoffs yes, but not compete. By then, Wall is an expiring and can be combined with our picks for another star.
If rockets had soo much talent how come last year they picked Jeff Green off the street after he was cut over a month ago and no one would sign him only for him to become our second best player.
He can attack the hoop and has some defense. I'll give him that. A poorer, shorter (height / wingspan) version of Giannis. But at least Giannis tries (a little on 3's). Simmons low FT% worries me. If he's a point forward, and the system goes through him primary ball handler, opposing teams can literally just hack-a-ben at end of games. When games are close and coach can't play the guy that you build your system around; you're in trouble. Simmons also depends on his athleticism, which he has (for now). He's coming off an injury, which even like guys like Klay can easily start be a repeat thing. Harden has skill ball, relies less on athleticism, his game still work as he gets older. Getting Simmons for Harden is like selling a house at 70% off. If Simmon's contract was cheaper but it's not.
I guess he would have traded Dream straight up for Harold Miner then, forget Rony Seikaly and Grant Long.
I figured as much and it makes sense but u need to try to contend w Simmons right away imo otherwise rich Paul and klutch will start b****ing and moaning. but get Simmons worry ab the rest
Wall is temporary player in a rebuild. Already 30. Feel same about EGo, who is older and just as injury prone.
Denver: Murray + MPJ + Bol Bol + 1RP Philly: Simmons + Thybulle + Curry + 1RP LAC: PG13 + 1RP Boston: Brown + Smart + Edwards + Nesmith + 1RP Brooklyn: Whoever + 4 x unprotected FRP GS: Klay + Wiseman + Oubre
He's 23!!!! He still has time to grow his skills. Shooting is the easiest skill to improve in pros. And in meantime, he can keep making All Star and All Defense teams while keeping us in playoffs. And selling house at 70% of value is better than selling at 40% of value. There is no other trade that includes a return player as talented and as successful.
