So when Harden is surrounded by scrubs it's his fault. But when Deshaun and Watt have the same problem it's the coach and teammates fault? Got it. Makes sense now.

Who should we ask for instead? We all know Simmons has flaws, but people are acting like Tatum is on the table and people are like nah, gimme Simmons.

Simmons can’t hold Harden’s jockstrap, but he’s likely the best we can do.

the Clippers have no picks to trade until like 2027, and I only like Paul George as a #2 next to Harden, not as the dude we’re replacing Harden with and will have to spend the year begging to stay...just the thought of begging the likes of Paul George to stay sounds like a timeline I don’t want to be a part of

I’m sure they could sell a Harden for Paul George trade to a vast majority of the fanbase tho

“look, we got an established star for James Harden, and we’ll still be a good team”

Simmons is on an over-bloated contract, which we could be stuck with, if we end up re-building.

He's been in the NBA 3 years already, even his Aussie connected coach couldn't can't get him to shoot 3's (and is now fired). I rather a team that gives plethora of cheap upside guys and picks.

HOU still has Wall's contract to honor.

If Harden goes to Philly, is the Harden/Embid an elite contender... if Wall/Cousin are healthy and with Wood, he'd have a better chance here.

    ---
James Harden, if you're out there breh, give this season a shot please. All this drama is giving me a headache.

Pels got a haul of picks for Jrue meanwhile it seems the Rockets can't get anyone to give up nearly any picks for Harden lol. You hate to see it.

a near crippling move is exactly what it takes to get a star of Hardens caliber.

Miami would 100% trade Bam and other pieces for Harden. That being said, the poison pill since he signed his extension makes it near impossible this season.

I’m not rebuilding anything around Klay. He’s just an asset that I would flip when he’s healthy. The other assets are Wisemen, that Minny pick and their other picks.

you and I seem to have different values around Harden. IMO he’s a top 3 player controlled for up to 3 years. In the “I want to win a championship right now” category, he’s 2nd only to Lebron.

I’m not trying to get so so pieces in a Harden deal. I would rather compete for the next 2 years and then accept whatever we can get via a SnT than take an offer that doesnt represent a good chunk of his value.

No source. I don’t have any inside sources connected to the team and never will. I just give my honest opinion about situations, and what players I would be holding out for if I were the Rockets. If no team is willing to get anywhere close to my asking price today, I’ll keep Harden until that changes. I’d prefer to get a Harden trade done sooner than later, but I’m not rushing to take a poor deal so he gets his wish quicker.

Harden makes too much money, you have to guy your entire team to add him

yea just different philosophies I guess. No biggie. I’d just say that any team that makes a crippling trade for harden then has to be able to contend and keep him. Easier said than done. Also on klay, yes u could always flip him if he’s healthy- but u don’t know if this is the beginning of a 2nd half of an injury plagued career where he’s never the same, huge risk to take on a harden deal.

top 5 picks are always gambles.

GS needs to stop...more like Rockets ain’t interested in what they have to offer...

talk all this mess about Harden, but once he’s available, y’all were pretty quick to inquire...hmmm...
