I agree that Ariza for most teams was not worth his contract but it was different here. We were over the cap couldn't really replace him. Also he was eventually traded for Oubre. That woulda been nice. Tillman was too cheap so we only had minimum contracts to offer. You aren't getting anything with that.

    @Chasing_Chase

Interesting fact to tie it all together. Mask Off samples "Prison Song" by Tommy Butler. Which is a song about black oppression.

They aren’t making the money that he is.
Tons of professional athletes that don’t make any money. Far more than those that get paid huge money.

Would still be sport without top tier athletes. They, like most in the entertainment industry are ridiculously overpaid for what they actually do.

My job is hard but I'm not getting life altering injuries doing it.

And do you hold other well paid celebrities to the same standard?

I think it is entirely possible that Morey had planned this all along. I’ve always found his thank you letter weird and cringyworthy. More like a thank you letter to James Harden than the fans.

Absolutely, but that’s just a personal opinion.

And basketball isn’t more inherently dangerous than any blue collar work.

Bottom line is there is no league without fans.

It's ironic that Scola is truly the consummate professional basketball player. He showed up and played hard every single time.

    And Harden has not?

Harden has been the most durable star in decades.

And he plays the most minutes season and season out.

And he has done so at historic levels and at times with a trash cast.

Real games have yet to start bro.

Man I’ve defended him as much as any person I know. My second favorite Rocket ever. But he’s handling this like a b**** imo. If he shows up and balls, then gets traded I would respect that.
Ferntits being a jackass doesn’t mean he should act like one too.

Lingerie Guy certainly can’t. For a moment, I thought @Nook was saying Harden asked Silas for a sandwich from a game show. Then I remembered it was a sub shop I’ve never tried.

I miss Scola, not the most athletically gifted, but he used what he had wisely.
