Why don't you look at my avatar, OG. I've been supporting this guy, and I can quit supporting him. I don't think of Harden as a girlfriend, whether you do or not.
You totally missed the point, so I’ll try to make it short and sweet, we shape our youth with the decisions we make as adults and role models. This type of behavior only shows our future stars how to behave. Us as the fans will only suffer when all the stars for years to come continue this downward spiral of erratic, unprofessional and I think some of y’all are totally missing the point, but that’s cool because everyone is entitled to there own opinions, you can trash my opinions all you want. I really don’t care, I just wanted to express my thoughts the way I see them. There’s plenty more things that I can go on about why this situation frustrates me but I could probably go on for hours about it. James has been the boss of this team. He’s been literally the puppet master himself. Now all of a sudden he’s mad at his boss for being in this situation because of his own actions with his peers? He has single han
Im sorry harden, westbrook may have been wrong for our game but we may have gotten rid of the wrong superstar. I have a feeling wb wont be acting this disinterested and unattached to HIS team. I hope im wrong, i hope james still gives this team a shot
I don't mind you supporting him, if he leaves the Rockets I'll stop supporting him myself. It's the drama queen stuff around here that's getting excessive, that's all. Do as you will. Never said you were his girlfriend by the way, or even implied it.
Now we know why he hates harden so much. These lin fans hold a grudge like no other fanbase in any sport
I'm fine with not supporting or agreeing with James' lack of professionalism. It's the drama that's getting out of control here, that's all.
No one is. Which is why, if you decide person X is someone to model yourself after and you end up disappointed, then it is what it is. In OP's post, he mentions how Harden is teaching kids that loyalty isn't a thing. But his job is professional basketball. Try what Harden is doing in a regular job, and you'll get fired. Furthermore, the dude like strip clubs, throwing his money around, etc. If that's what a role model is to you, then that's what a role model is to you. Point is, if you try to extrapolate what Harden is doing, and apply it to your own personal life, you're going to learn that you simply can't. I'm not trying to say who people should emulate, but honestly, mimicry of a player's basketball skills should be the farthest it goes, when it comes to "idolizing." Diving deeper, you might get your feelings hurt.
Make no Mistake If money was no object . . .. even say the SAME MONEY If a better job came up . .or you could leave instantly to a better job . . .. 99% of the people reading this would be OUT Contrary to what we all believe. . .this is a job. Rocket River
Resorting to calling me a Lin fan cause I’m Asian. How original. I don’t know why you try to make this personal but it’s cool. Keep taking your Harden sorrows/frustration on me.
What did you pay money for? I'm willing to bet you already got your money's worth...which is why you even ponied up the cash in the first place. Season tickets? You watched the games. Player's jerseys? You got the merchandise. You already got what you perceived to be an equivalent of whatever money you paid.
You are right: giving my friend a $100K purse for his birthday instead of doing my job is not the path I want to follow.
Because it wasnt his team to begin with. Perhaps if harden was the one being shopped, and wb era is here.... you think things may be different.
