See, that's the problem. Dr Birx has stated that ALL deaths with someone positive with Covid will be counted as a Covid death. That is irresponsible as **** and leads to people freaking out far more than they should.
Not really. Most just want any vaccine they can get. mRNA, while it's a new vaccine vector, actually may be safer than the traditional DNA vaccine. The genetic code for mRNA doesn't have to enter your own DNA for antibody synthesis to happen. Now that you think about it, random DNA entering your own DNA sounds scarier. But it happens all the time with other viruses, so it's really not much concern. There's certainly different trains of thought on the vaccine rollout. Some think that nursing home workers are the only ones that need the vaccine. The workers are the only resident's exposure to the outside world that could bring the virus to the residents. The residents aren't going anywhere and visitors can still be denied. Healthcare workers are also exposed to the virus more than others. A random person may have it in your normal day-to-day activities. A hospital worker will be in contact with numerous sick persons who may be contagious. These people need to be healthy to take care of the sick. While I'm not a hospital worker and would love to be first to get the vaccine, prioritizing the elderly and hospital workers are valid primary targets. With the amount opting out, though, I may get it sooner than expected. A webinar I joined expected public access around March.
Link? Pretty sure if someone with COVID gets shot or dies in an auto accident, that they aren't marked as dying from COVID. For example, George Floyd had COVID when he was killed. His death was not attributed to COVID.
If there is a financial incentive, yes they would. Its not an insidious money grab. It simply means the body is contaminated and there are extra precautions that must be taken.
If you want data go ****ing find it yourself. The notion that people dying from car accidents are being marked as Covid is stupid as hell. Grow up.
You don't get it. I've been looking for a while now. It is being hidden. You don't see that? A basic number in any other year? Grow up? Look in the mirror. Or find the number.
Sure, precautions need to be made if someone dies and had COVID or ANY communicable disease, but that's not what FFB claims is being done. In his world he claimed Birx said someone like George Floyd was marked as dying from COVID. Of course, we all know (well, most of us) that Birx never said that.
I understand exactly what he is doing. He is attempting to take a thread of truth to weave a web of misinformation.
I am responding your quote where your said "Dr Birx has stated that ALL deaths with someone positive with Covid will be counted as a Covid death" Where is the link to that quote? I doubt one exists because she never said that.
Find the number, kids. Think about it. Shouldn't we know it with every day getting bombarded by Covid cases? Think!
It has taken me many weeks to recover from COVID19, and I still have some side effects. My wife now has developed bad pneumonia as a consequence of her COVID19 infection. At this point we are trying to keep her out of the hospital. I have lost two family members to COVID19 so far and a couple colleagues/slash people that I have a working relationship with. I have employees that have lost family members to COVID19. I appreciate people with different perspectives... what I increasingly cannot tolerate are purposely ignorant jackasses that try to claim that COVID isn’t killing hundreds of thousands of Americans and spread disinformation. COVID is real, it is serious and it is impacting millions of Americans and killing hundreds of thousands. If my wife ends up dying from pneumonia as a complication of COVID or has long term side effects... those in public settings not wearing masks are not going to want to be anywhere near me.
Aren't you a numbers guy? Show me the year to date death toll. If any basic number will shut me up, that will, right? FIND IT
Weekly death numbers are on the CDC site. https://data.cdc.gov/NCHS/Weekly-Counts-of-Deaths-by-State-and-Select-Causes/muzy-jte6 The deaths are total number of deaths received and coded by the CDC. Since there is a lag in time from death to being reported and recorded by the CDC. So the death numbers that's less than a few weeks from today would be an underestimate of deaths. I downloaded the data and plotted it, comparing 2019 weekly deaths by 2020 weekly deaths. Again, this is actual deaths already recorded by CDC, not projections or estimates. 2020 weekly deaths are higher than 2019 weekly deaths by significant margins. The steep drop off at week 46 and 47 of data is due to delay in reporting of deaths. Tallying up the total number of deaths, from week 1-45, 2019 had 2,453,228 deaths and 2020 had 2,768,536. That's an increase of 315,308 deaths or 12.85%. Population growth in 2019 is about 0.5% so population growth cannot explain the increase in deaths. You're welcome to download the data to take a look for yourself. At the site https://data.cdc.gov/NCHS/Weekly-Counts-of-Deaths-by-State-and-Select-Causes/muzy-jte6, then click on 'export' on the upper right. Do you consider this to be evidence of an increase in 'total death rate'?
