Lil Baby shared that Adidas photo with the caption It's time and Harden re-shared it. All I know is that this is ****ing lame.
Few people would be upset about him wanting to take a different direction in his career. What you seem to be completely glossing over is how he’s gone about doing that over the past week. I’m not going to repeat what I said in my other post which you chose to ignore but just because other superstars have taken similar actions doesn’t make it right. The man is getting paid, the org has bent over backwards to accommodate him (outside of going over the LT), his teammates have accommodated his play style, and his fans have been fighting for his reputation for 8 years. You think he deserves respect from the fans but the fans don’t deserve some respect in return? Is that how the world works? I’m one of harden’s most vocal supporters, I’ve never said a negative word about him through it all. That doesn’t mean he hasn’t made mistakes and if you think this is the way to handle this situation then we’ll just have to agree to disagree.
Ugh,...idk bro. This is all very hard to take in, why cant the dude just say something? Why cant he just be clear? Im tired of this.
This is so ridiculous bro. He's burning bridges here man. Fine whatever man, if there was ever time Tillman being a dick head was good for something, it would be now.
Here's an idea: Rockets need to go back to blue pinstripe unis. Rejecting MAGA red will go a long way to show Tillman has repudiated his MAGA ways. City edition is a nod in this direction
I mean it’s obvious he doesn’t want to be here for the long term. He’s unhappy & hates Tilman. I think he wants to be in a different uniform opening day. But I know he’s smart enough to know that might not happen. James will show up and play. Regardless of what people’s perception of him right now is because they are hurt he isn’t the type of dude to do his teammates dirty and not show up and play. But his heart isn’t in Houston anymore.
Or hes forcing Rockets to improve the roster. Either way, I'm still not uncomfortable. And neither should you.
Unless "it's time" means it's time to sign the ****ing contract extension and get to work, then I'm with you. This cryptic stuff isn't fun at all.
Well I’m not going to feed into the Harden haters that are just trolling CF’s and trying to stir the pot. By no means am I talking about you saleem. I recognize your passion for the Rockets. My passion for the Rockets is high as well. My connection to Harden is the tie that binds to the Rockets.....once he exits the fandom will end. I wish him well; but I won’t follow his career with another team. Root against him when facing the Rockets. Trolls of other teams jerking us around in hopes of Harden being pushed to their favorite team or the media members doing much the same drumming up hate....trades just don’t happen in a snap of the finger. _____________________ In a normal year a player traded......team has to wait 60 days to trade that player. Free agents signed have to wait......3 months from signing date to be traded. Usually around Dec 15th. Trade deadline in March this season I believe. _______________________ So when you scratch off recently traded players and recently signed free agents you get: Blake Griffin.....$36.8M........sucks......we won’t make the playoffs. PG13...............$35.5M.......worked hard to get to L.A........will refuse to play for us......TF in the same boat. Klay Thompson....$35.5M......sucks.......twice injured in about one year. Conley..................$34.5M.......sucks......Harden said he wanted to contend........not suck harder and pretend. kemba..................$34.4M Tobias Harris........sucks........need to include Simmons to get me slightly interested (& exclude Harris) Rockets are probably looking at Nets scrubs and busted up Kyrie. Not sniffing the playoffs for a while.
