Bought an air fryer a while back mainly for wings and french fries just cranked it up and did some whole wings and bone in chicken breast.

I marinated them with olive oil and a spicy chicken seasoning I use.

The breast came out great, the wings were a little dry but ok, what else can be done in a air fryer?

    I got the Instapot vortex.

    Zucchini Corn Fritters

3 shredded zucchini (I spread this out on a paper towel and top with a paper towel to remove some of the moisture prior to mixing), 1 potato (mashed), 1 can of corn kernels, 2 tablespoons chickpea flour mixed, seasoned to your flavor preference (jalapeno, garlic, and/or paprika plus salt and pepper) and then formed into small balls. Lightly brush with olive oil.

Air fryer at 360 for 15-16 minutes, flipping halfway.

Does anything actually come out better tasting in an air fryer compared to regular frying, or is it all about the health benefits from not eating fried food? Just wondering because I've been thinking about getting one, but none of the times I've tried to batter stuff and use my convection have turned out well.

I would say fried tastes better. If oven is 0 and fried is 100, I'd put the air fryer at about 80 in taste.

Get some Mrs. Dash, some chicken tenderloins and pour some olive oil in a spritzer bottle. Sprinkle the Dash on the tenderloins spritz with olive oil before and during. Cook for 12 mins. Put on salad. Healthiest, easiest and quickest chicken salad you can come up with.

The food is not supposed to taste better, the things I cooked tasted great and it was much quicker and convenient.

And yes its a healthy way to eat but still get great taste.

    It's not meant for batter.

    What time do you use?

    Temp?

Do you go by regular oven cook times?

    Is it automatic?

Do you have to set temp and time?

Cooking sausage is my favorite for air fryers. That and Brussel sprouts.
