I don't care where he WANTS to go, he can stay here for all I care......get the best deal or tell him tough...play out your contract.

Danny Ainge will always be stingy when it comes to his team and rarely offers a good deal. He holds on to his assets for way too long and doesn't cash in. If you ask me, it's definitely cost him a few times already.

Yea honestly, I would rather this be a miserable crap show for 2 years than trade James Harden for trash. Nah, naaaaaaaaaaaah. No no no no. This is not happening. If you are too stupid to realize what you are getting, that is fine by me.

no. Jaylen is fools gold. No interest in him as the centerpiece for a Rockets deal.

If Jaylen is the center piece, then I want every last positive asset Boston has not named Tatum. All of it.

How could one contact possibly have all of this information? A reporter? If so, why isn't it being reported? Anyways, not sure how GSW could have a good offer if they are not including the "big 3" or Wiseman? There is literally nothing else to offer on that team. I really hope the Rockets stay strong. Would still be shocked if Morey does not offer Simmons considering the Simmons/Embid combo seems to not be the best star pairing.

Either the Rockets get a young cornerstone (Simmons, Brown, Murray, Siakam) and picks back for Harden, or he plays out his final two seasons of his contract in Houston, and the Rockets have $40 million in additional cap space.

It’s that simple. I don’t give a **** if Morey wants to pair Harden with Simmons and Embiid, or James Harden doesn’t want to be in Boston if the Celtics have to trade Jaylen Brown for him, etc. You do not make a bad deal to oblige the trade request of a disgruntled superstar.

In the next CBA, the NBA and its owners need to get tough concerning player empowerment and put serious deterrents in place to curb to the trend of stars demanding trades with multiple years left on their contracts and trying to hold their organizations hostage in the process.

It's really funny to me that outsiders think he can't play defense or adjust his playing style.

Harden is not the type of player that fits seamlessly into a successful team. This is part of the reason why the Rockets are having trouble finding offers that they take seriously.

If he really wants to go because he doesn't trust the Rockets to build a serious contender around him, then why doesn't he look forward a couple of years like LeBron did. Find a team that can trade for him with tons of assets and cap space to sign a star player to pair with him in the 21-22 season. Not sure who that is, but that's probably his best bet at becoming a 1A or 1B of a championship level team.

Maybe a package like multiple firsts and swaps (keep in mind Curry is about to turn 33, Draymond 31, they're kinda old), plus the Wolves pick (which will likely end up as a lottery one and it's protected only in top 4), Paschall, Oubre...i don't know, without Wiseman i think that's all they have to offer.

We can go over this ad nauseum so I won’t, but AD was a rental and wasn’t stay. Kawhi left a champion and we had kyrie and Hayward returning to an ECF team. Both rentals. Butler had character issues at the time and wasn’t moving the needle against a warriors juggernaut team and u all know that better than me.

PG? they tried. Trust me I’ve lived this and I was heartbroken when it was clear ad would never come to Boston because it really meant kyrie was gone too but ainge lost horford, kyrie in the same offseason and the team didn’t miss a beat and was actually better - how many teams can say that?

not to mention trading one of those other Brooklyn picks now and u don’t have Tatum

that’s fine. I’m not Jaylens agent, I couldn’t careless you’re not hurting my feelings. I’ve said multiple times Simmons is the best asset and that’s who u should want and I think you’ll get.

don’t want brown? More power to ya. But if Philly isn’t offering Simmons (I think they do) maybe u need to recalibrate what you are actually going to get back in a return. That’s a u thing not me.

Yeah, Ainge has had more assets than anyone else in the past few years and he’s refused to cash them in for Kawhi (title), AD (title) or Butler (Finals).

"but he's a tough fit for teams trying to win a title and his best value is exclusively on the ball as the scorer + playmaker and doesn't offer elite defense to counter his flaws. That's why teams don't see trading key players to be good as Harden wants to win a title and you will need two stars with him to do that, not just one."

This so much bullshit, who else do you want on the ball as a scorer and playmaker outside of Lebron?

Why does he need two stars instead of one?

Has he not been to the WCF twice with one star battling a team with 4?

The same can be said about anybody not named Lebron, where is this talk about Giannis or Dame?

He’ll never ever ever, did I say ever? trade harden to the sixers just because Morey is there.
