If they were able to, it would be phone records, e-mails, witness testimony, etc. Probably won't be able to prove it though.
I sure hope not. That's the only thing that has me nervous right now, the inexperience of the the FO dealing with this sort of situation.
Ben Simmons>>just getting back our draft picks OKC is so bad right now the pick swaps are essentially meaningless...we’ll lose the 2 picks we only have top 4 protection on, but oh well
I agree. He definitely will be I think also. He's a better player than Simmons and I think Tatum is near reaching. I don't think Boston will let that dude go. He's too young and he is the only one of the group who has a chance to reach Harden's level.
That was a big indicator. He has had several other before and after that game. When it doesn't go his way in a game he tends to sulk at times. If a is going to stay away and sulk from this team I hope they don't trade him for the sake of getting rid of his problems. Let him sit till the right offer comes. It will eventually. Value is all perception. Eventually a team will think 'if we had Harden we could fit him in and run the table'. I've always preached he has to continue to grow as a leader. Once Morey got CP3 I was hopeful CP3 would provide a template to improve those area of Harden's career. Unfortunately it didn't take.
Hey, all the numerous folks who for years have wanted to trade Harden for young players and picks will probably soon get their wish. I have been a big defender of Harden, and still mainly blame Tilman, but it seems time to move on. I guess we now know what it was like to be a fan of the Pelicans, the Thunder, Miami and Cleveland as we keep waiting for our superstar to leave.
All the better if he sits out after refusing a $50million/year paycheck. Make him sweat. Make him play.
because they own everybody else’s Who is giving up 6-7 picks for James Harden at the deadline, especially if he doesn’t want to be there?
I like the trade centered around Jaylen Brown.. Really like his game a lot. He'd fit perfectly on any team & still has a lot of room to grow I like simmons as well but would prefer JB
Simmons is probably the most realistic possiblity that offers the most promising young guy. But I would really like to see if we can convince Boston to let go of Tatum. That would be even better but that is far more doubtful.
I find it funny how all of CF was in the "Power to the Player" boat before the JH situation. Y'all held this belief because it gave you a sense of warmth or pleasure, knowing some day a disgruntled star might force his way into Houston. Now that we're dealt this hand, y'all want to force Harden to stay. Understandable, I do too, but some proper foresight from CF every once in a while would be nice. The players can demand freedom all they want until it's time for the NBPA & NBA to negotiate a new CBA.
