Eric Gordon: Everyone is excited. It’s a change in culture.

James Harden has been a better defender than Eric Gordon for years.

Gordon is definitely a better defender than Westbrook.

 

Looks like EG will start at the 2 next to John Wall.

Gordon may be excited to potentially have a bigger role, which is understandable. However, without Harden, this is not a championship contender. Gordon can enjoy shooting more while winning 40-45 games. They may even be competitive and make the playoffs, but they are just not going to be a great team without Harden, sorry to say.

 

Not at the perimeter. He's definitely good at the post but he's not as good of a perimeter defender as Gordon.

 

LOL Gordon has had a good career, but had he been healthier he could have been a Hall of Fame type player.... 40 inch vertical, very quick, strong, has super long arms, the burst to get around defenders and he could really shoot it.

 

Gordon guards point guards better, but I will take Harden against most shooting guards. Gordon hasn't been as good defensively, I suspect because of injuries.
