GSW traded DLo for Wiggins and 2021 top 3 protected First or 2022 unprotected First. Reporters are saying that Wizards got better after the trade. grade A+ Trade Covington for Wood and 2 Firsts indirectly.
Fair amount implies he was strongly desired. The question should be phrased did we take too much of a risk to dump him. And yes, I think this trade was fair for both sides.
Westbrook didn't have a big market. We get Wall and a first round pick. That is more than i thought we would get for him
The very few other teams that were willing to take on Westbrook's massive salary wanted significant assets attached as compensation. https://www.theringer.com/nba/2020/...stbrook-trade-was-an-act-of-total-desperation This was the best deal available since we actually got a draft pick in return vs giving away assets away with Westbrook.
I would’ve liked 1 fully guaranteed pick. Or atleast 2 protected picks. But it’s over with time to move on
No, and it looks worse now with Harden going AWOL. I like John though and I hope he will bounce back this year.
I think John Wall is going to be fantastic for us. I am very happy with the trade. If we trade Harden at some point, I have faith in Rafael to get a fair deal. Under the circumstances, Rafael has had an astonishingly impressive offseason while his stars have been purposefully trying to blow this thing up in his face.
