This whole situation has been so strange. Harden has never been a diva, at least publicly, so for him to be so outwardly dramatic/immature about this situation is a surprise. The bottom line is the rockets don’t have to do anything with regards to trading him at least this year. So while I hope they work it out and he stays if he doesn’t show some professionalism the rockets are under no obligation to do him any favors.
