It means there is no actual loyalty to the Rockets or Houston - it means that both parties are looking out for their own self interests - which is what it means.....the sooner we get comfortable with it, and less butt hurt when someone decides to do something to better themselves the better off we will be. No one cares about the fans - other than us fans - there are no more players, owners, or management types that care about the Team more than themselves....those days are long gone. DD
I agree, so then we can all agree that Tucker and Harden and Westbrook and MDA and Tilman all are just looking out for their self interests and not be upset.
If my brother would know how many times his quotes have been reposted today, he'd be a happy little fart.
Man, the Hakeem choice was stupid - like why couldn't they just pay him?? - uhhh UH/Rockets 1 city fairy tale end for his career /1st real championship for the city. Les should have kept him, that was bad to say the least. Like the fans want to have these players remain loyal to an organization/city/them for their career - but then we see "well, it's just business" - fully excusing the team, so is it about money or chips/loyalty?? The line always moves to dictate the reasoning But then again these guys are also now getting paid more than just about all of us, so I think the fans take it more personally. I think I'd be okay with moving around if I was getting paid like this. Obviously the players that used to play and work an actual job to survive during the season even - now that's a different story.
Or he is under contract and if doesn’t like that then he shouldn’t have signed it. Play ball. If he gets traded it needs to help the TEAM. Rockets first. I think if there is value for the TEAM in trade then move him. I really don’t care if he chokes on his multi-millionaire tears. Play ball & STFU —> Mr. Tucker
One thing to keep in mind is the culture of an organization and a team. That weighs heavily for future prospects and free agents. I look at teams like LA and Miami and I see former players involved in decision making. I just don’t see that with Htx. Where are our greats like Dream, Elie, Cassell, Rudy T, Battier, etc. the only guy I can think of with a previous playing association with the rox is Lucas. You need basketball guys to keep up the culture of an organization and we haven’t displayed that in the past and now have even more guys with bad blood against us.
if it’s just business when teams act however they want, then keep that same energy when a player starts acting up to get what they want Kawhi in SA and AD in Nola was just business then
If we are not going to pay the man trade him to someone who will. Never oppress another mans opportunity of making his money.
