Harden likely talking through his agent, in this case his mother, negotiating a trade timeline. Makes sense why his mom is tweeting now. Silas knows something but not everything. Stone is really not a public guy, he is the opposite of Morey, he does no comments.
This isn't watergate. It's a dude holding out. They want to write their stories. So ask the question once and move on. They are asking it 3+ times per interview. I studied journalism in undergrad. It's a pretty basic principle to ask interesting questions. They are asking they 5 Ws all on Harden. Who is James Harden? Why isn't James here? what's it like without James? When is James getting here? Where is James?
PJ probably getting traded at some point this year Not sure what sort of extension PJ is expecting at his age, but why should I believe Tilman will be the one to give it?
PJ came to play with a contender, we are rebuilding now, its really too bad he is not getting an extension.
He should have negotiated a player option for the 4th year. Morey really took his agent to school on that one. I remember Toronto was offering PJ 3 year, $33M, so he took less money to play here. I can't believe Morey tricked his agent to not providing PJ a player option in that contract.
trade him to Philly with Harden to sweeten the pot. Thybulle, Simmons and Miton + whatever draft capital that we can get. (hopefully 2 Picks (the years we traded them to OKC) and 2 Swaps Wall / Milton Eric / McLemore Thybulle / Nwaba Simmons / House Wood / Cousins That looks like a playoff team with a ton of upside and draft capital. I doubt Morey would even do this trade at this point.
So lets look at the scoreboard. General Manager ....... left tens of millions of dollars to leave. Head coach ........... left as soon as humanly possible and released statement he wouldn't comeback. Hall of Fame franchise player ..... demands a trade and is sitting out Hall of Fame point guard ......... demands a trade and didn't report to camp so traded Top role player ..... doesn't want to be a Rocket... points out he doesn't know most these players and won't discuss contract. Who is happy? Eric Gordon
PJ Tucker is going to be 36 years old in May. He's a nice player and a good fit, but he's nowhere near as coveted as he seems to think he is. I love the guy because he's a grinder, but if he becomes a malcontent that's not going to help his cause at all.
Lets see who has done a lot to grow the Rockets brand: 1) Morey 2) Dantoni 3) Harden 4) Tilman One of these does not belong and one of these will remain.
probably the main reason he’s so mad took less to come here, and has been the heart and soul of the team while playing major minutes and battling every game as an undersized PF/midget C the organization was quick to hand EG an extension to play some defense and chuck
I used to think PJ was the perfect four next to Harden. Then I watched him do nothing in playoff game after playoff game.
