Also, if those numbers are the qualifier.
Then Watson is in the same category as Josh Allen
    Derek Carr
    Ryan Tannehill
    Big Ben
    Justin Herbert
    Kyler Murray
    Kirk Cousins lol

You think the Seahawks and Texans have similar talent?... And FYI: the Seahawks have played three teams with a winning record. The Texans have played 7 (!) including the 11-0 Steelers & 11-1 Chiefs. The best team Seattle has played is the 9-3 Packers, who the Texans have also played.

None of which is relevant when comparing their 2020 seasons.

Tim Kelly shouldn’t have a job in the organization. The organization needs to clean house & get new management. Fire Easterby, hire a GM and let him choose his coach according to his vision.

Seahawks have a worse defense and worse Oline.
Receiving core is about the only thing that has performed better.
And that was only until recently.

As to the last part, those things are extremely relevant. If this season is what Watson is, it will maintain and not fluctuate.
Wilson is a model of top tier consistency.

I already did this for you in another post. Stop being stubbornly obtuse. The two best QBs in football are Mahomes and Rodgers. Watson and Wilson are on their next tier, mostly by themselves.

Their coaching staff is significantly better, as are their skill positions. If the Texans' OL is better, it's marginal; same for defense. Texans schedule has been significantly harder.

But, it speaks volumes that all you are these other, non-Watson factors to try and pull Watson down.

It's not relevant. We're not discussing their careers; we're discussing the 2020 season. Nick Foles has a SB ring - does that put him in the conversation? Matt Ryan, Jared Goff, Jimmy Garapollo have all been to the SB - which one would you trade Deshaun Watson for?

Right now, Deshaun Watson is the 3rd, maybe 4th best QB in football.

If you take Watson out of Houston and put him on the Seahawks I don't see anyway that he's doing any worse than Wilson. Throw in the fact that he's significantly younger than Wilson and I think they'd absolutely consider it. Now, obviously those trades never happen in the NFL, but if you were to get them to be completely honest with you, I guarantee there'd be a considerable amount of people in the Seahawks organization that would prefer Watson over Wilson due to the fact that they're essentially equal right now and Watson would give them a much longer window of contention than they currently have.

And we disagree there. Wilson, Rodgers and Mahomes are in a tier by themselves.

It’s the only logical argument for when all of you blame everyone else for Watson’s shortcomings.

He is at best 4th, more likely around 5-7

They aren’t equal and Watson is significantly higher paid. They are already upset with how little is left of the team because they had to pay Wilson.

Now that's the one reason why they would maybe balk at that deal. Although like I was saying earlier they would actually be saving a ton of money for the next two seasons since Watson doesn't start making top-2-QB money until 2022.

Based on... what? Tell us! And don't push a Super Bowl Wilson won 7 years ago makes him a better option right now. Watson's 2020 numbers are better than Wilson's. If you want to *then* argue Wilson's past accomplishments push him even/slightly ahead, OK, I guess. But in no non-troll universe is Wilson significantly better than Watson.

For comedy's sake, which QBs would you put above Deshaun Watson right now? I'll give you Mahomes and Rodgers; Wilson would be 3. Who else? This should be hilarious.

He doesn't have very many shortcomings. I mean, you do realize that Watson hadn't thrown an interception in six consecutive starts prior to yesterday?

If Wilson was on the market last offseason, he likely gets paid more than Watson. How much a QB gets paid is more of a result of when they enter free agency and the market factors involved and less so on how good they are. That's why it's pointless to compare QB salaries with one another.

Watson and Wilson’s numbers are pretty even this year. Some lead for Watson, some for Wilson.
Wins are the biggest factor, body of work also.
You take Watson’s best season so far and it’s still just competing with Wilson’s. Not beating it.

Ive already done this. Just because you aren’t objective enough to see it doesn’t mean that I’m “trolling” you.
Mahomes, Wilson, Rodgers are first tier.

Watson, Brady, Big Ben, Allen, Tannehill, Carr, Herbert, Murray are in the next cut right now.
