but here's the thing, da baby is a wealthy rapper. giving him cash is a strange gift.

The money was spent at a strip club.... so I suppose you could say he gave it to working moms?

He gives a lot of money to charities and is famous for taking out huge amounts of cash and giving it to poor people on the streets.

People that grew up poor and at 30 are are worth nearly a half billion dollars.... the money was used at the club anyway.

It is still a crazy amount of money to essentially give away for 99.9% of the population.

I feel what you’re saying but the use of the word “occasional” made me chuckle.

 

Silas is a straight shooter, he is handling this right. He doesn't know anything and isn't going to speculate....

I agree with @The Cat that most likely Harden is flexing and will be back with the Rockets, it is a passive aggressive way for him to show his feelings.

This is also the real first challenge for Silas....... as a rookie coach, you better bet someone like Harden is going to try to decide what is and isn't done on the court, and Silas will have to walk that tight rope....... which is what is the modern reality of NBA coaches.

The league front office and owners have decided that this is a super star league....... they let the players decide IF they will play, when they will play.... what causes will be highlighted by the league and just about everything else.... there is no longer a definitive line and it is only getting worse because there are never any consequences for players.......... players now are releasing memo's saying they will not do media day, players are demanding trades whenever they want, players are getting coaches fired, players are using "fronts" for agencies to ensure they can build super teams...... a big enough player can even take a break in the season, sit out games and possible miss the beginning of the season.......... all because the league offices allow it.
