I already acknowledged that Harden has a right to be frustrated with Fertitta. That doesn’t give him the right to intentionally not show up to work and still receive the $80 million remaining on his contract. If he wants to get paid, he should have to show up to work. If he wants to forego getting paid to leave the Rockets, that’s fine, too.

Well, I think the Westbrook-to-Houston for CP3 and picks really put a sour taste in people's mouths. Especially now, since Westbrook played one season and we had to bounce him. If we still had CP3 here but the hammy season was the closest we'll have gotten to a title, the Houston fanbase wouldn't hate on Harden.

Harden isn't blameless, in this situation.

    They pay me handsomely.
They run everything by me; involve me in every decision on/off the court
Everything runs through me ON the court (while everyone else stands around)
Acquired my BFF, the guy I wanted!
I’m on my 3rd “star” in 3 seasons

Feel bad/mad? Nope, not even a little bit.

I'd gladly put myself in his shoes if I could only afford them.

Minny and Nola are small time organizations, even more so in the past.

KG and AD had every right to do what they did.

Houston is at least a second tier market.

    With a bottom tier owner.

You are missing @vator point, the ownership is draconian AND cheap AF.

Well to me being labeled gay accidently isn't an insult as I don't find being gay as being reprehensible.

You are not upset that he is still being paid.

We as fans are upset because his method of protest jeopardizes our ability to enjoy our team.

Harden is in effect on strike until certain changes/conditions are made.

Yes Tildo (yes, I am TM marking this!) is a vinegar and water concoction used by females.

That being said, this is a fascinating topic to me because there are so many things at play here:
    1. Would Tildo financially be this way if COVID was not severely impacting his businesses?
    2. After the Harden to Houston trade, did the mystic of Daryl Morey and teams not wanting to trade with him for fear of missing out on something put this team in the position it is now?
    3. Did Daryl Morey's bad contracts on guys like Ryan Anderson and gambles on CP3 and signing the max put this team in the position it is now?
    4. Does James Harden and the Rockets style of play turn players away?
    5. Does/has James had too much influence of Daryl that bad decision were made to please him and now the team is in the position it is in now?

Let me be clear, not bashing Morey because he finally got people talking about Houston as a threat to win a championship 2016 to 2019 and made moves (like the CP3 one I bashed above) that got us close.

Just putting some things out there to discuss.

I feel ya, I don’t cry for millionaires in general but sometimes your team was just never good enough in your era to win a chip. Ask Karl Malone. Sucks fir Harden though but man has he gotten paid!

There should have been a veto to begin with.

Tilman could be handing over the franchise to the next Tilman as Leslie did.

I would be furious at that.

The whole point is to have a good environment to contend.

So your post was your way of asking Greg Oden if you could suck his dick?

If you want to suck his dick then just be honest about it instead of phrasing it like it was some kind of punishment.

Be proud of who you are chowd.

People go on strike because they aren't receiving enough benefits, salary, vacation hrs etc

They don't go on strike while making 40 mil a year upset with the product line up or something.

I have to admit that I find it a bit hypocritical to complain over and over about how terrible and cheap the ownership is, which has been the case on this board in general and even by many of the people who have commented here in this thread and then get mad at the people that ownership affects the most when they've had enough. MDA, Morey, and Westbrook all made the decision that they didn't want to work for this guy anymore too. Be fair. Let's acknowledge that. Emotions and anger aside, that is a real issue.

Yes I'll gladly suck Greg Oden's dick for 40 million dollars. If he agrees to that offer I'll be on my knees instantly.

I mean this offer is open to anyone. If anyone has some spare 40 million or so on the side to spare, I'll gladly suck their dick.

    Really good post

    the answer is obvious
Tillman’s businesses would be doing well
Hospitality and Restaurants are the hardest hit industries because of the virus

I understand people don’t like Tilman but all of us want our vacation trips and restaurants back
