I think my favorite episode is the one where that guy tells The Mandalorian to seek out that other guy on another planet
after seeing old buttafatt in action, i realized that mando is just a breh in a shining armor that has a difficulties beating basic storm troopers. hell he got punked so bad by them that they actually kept hitting their target. one note, after mando put his jetpack down, how come he didn't pick it up when the storm troopers arrived? instead he ren away like an idiot. had he picked up his jetback, he could've gone to baby groot's rescue easily.
I'm not sure Mando is qualified to be an exterminator of the Empire though, right? I never knew him to be the savior of the good guys. That being said, I do believe he's supposed to be a really good bounty hunter. Maybe he could fight better.
you'd think he could at least take out basic stormtroopers like his did previous episodes. but turns out he just a fake. he's just a harden, while buttafatt is lerbon.
Yeah, that detail kind of drove me crazy. There were a couple different times it would have made SO much more sense for him to go grab his jet pack than what he ended up doing. But still, a small pot hole in the grand scheme of things. So, has beskar always been so indestructible in SW lore? I was fine with it basically deflecting blaster bolts, but the episode before last when it was demonstrated that it could stand up to a light saber kind of surprised me. This is basically the most durable/indestructible material in the universe. Which is fine, but has it always been that way or is the show kind of expanding its capabilities somewhat?
yeah never heard of beskar prior to this series. wasn't mentioned in any of the 9 movies, not that i know of at least. they're trying to create a star wars ademantium. but apparently put it in a medium sized fire pan and it melts.
I told my kids, I finally now see why they did a special release of his action figure when I was a kid, and you had to save up proofs of purchase to order him.
Man, did I mention this already? There's a $99+ Mando action figure that I really want, lulz. I'm not an action figure guy. Or someone that spends $100 on a doll. but.... just look at it!
so you can still shoot him on his lower legs, parts of his arms and large chunks of his torso. maybe he'll get more missions for more beskar and eventually cover his whole body. i wonder how much they weigh
It takes all the lore and runs with it. No bullshit head fakes because a b**** baby director or producer “wanna send a message”. Favreau doing his magic like he did with comic book movies when they were mostly terrible or mediocre.
